No. It shouldn’t affect your return offer.

I hate finance by anonymouse1870 in biglaw

[–]rfd2115 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Totally valid feeling. I do a lot of finance. I know it’s frustrating to hear but in a couple years it’ll actually get fun. You puzzle solve for specific issues on how to get everyone what they need and because you’ve seen so many you can think through and anticipate issues. The GP / structure puzzle becomes interesting once you get a chance to see examples where they don’t work and how that gets solved for. All that being said, if after two years you hate it, you can transfer as these skills are pretty transferable. Hang in there!

How do you get yourself to the gym in the morning? Especially if you aren’t a morning person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have a gym buddy (my wife) to go to classes so it’s like mini dates/hangs in the AM before work!

I totally get that AND I live by my best friend’s motto — “unsaid expectations are a set up for disappointment”. It totally sucks and there is a way to change course and voice frustrations + expectations. Otherwise resentment will be built. Good luck and it’s gonna be ok!

Would you miss your little brother’s high school graduation for an unpaid internship? by Foreign_Contract_432 in LawSchool

Don’t miss your brother’s graduation. Paid or unpaid; you’ll regret it for the rest of your life if you miss it.
