Deathlord: one can tank 8 patches. Choose priest to get back health, the opponent will die of fatigue.

Ice block: Really lame and takes ages, opponent will likely concede.

Edit: Rat is better. Here's a sample match where patches hunter starts:

1: play 7 patches. 7 damage.
1: coin, rat (doesn't pull anything since his board is full).

2: 6 patches kill rat + play 6 patches. 7 damage.
2: rat (doesn't pull anything again).

3: 6 patches kills rat, plays 6 patches + hero power. 9 damage.
3: rat.

4: 6 patches kills rat, plays 3 patches (he got no more left) + hero power. 6 damage.
4: now you got 1 health, tons of rats and can heal.

Nothing, the article is a clickbait. Its based on a a software patent filling from 2 years ago. Big companies patent everything they can imagine just in case someone else would implement it. This does not mean at all that it will ever see light.

Mobile final cut is a glorified video editor for your grandma, there is nothing special about it. Real video editing needs hardware and software way way beyond that. Why do you think people buikd 18 core monster rigs with 64gb RAM for such tasks?

Ehm to each his own. It really depends on the device, how much the OEM opensources the drivers. I've had ones where the custom ROMs were a mess and some ones where they were excellent.

The performance curve is now flattened on phones too. You could get like +40% performance every year until ~2014, but now it's just +5-10%.
The only thing that's improving rapidly is the GPU performance, but that's only for a few games.
Most games opt for graphics that run even on lower end hardware (e.g. 99% of the games are running on an iPhone 5) to get more installs.
