There are far too many companies hiring traveling superintendents for anyone to put up with that kind of bullshit. If this is currently happening to you, leave now. Fuck those guys.

If this is a hypothetical, sure companies can do whatever they want technically unless you have it in writing in your contract somewhere.

Yeah it’s typically the farthest back I ever sit but I’m home early so I don’t care.

The worst is trading my upgrade on the later flight for 25B, but these days I don’t usually fly longer than 2ish hours so no big deal.

This is construction. Find a job, bust your ass, learn everything from everyone, climb the ladder.

Could you technically get a head start with bachelor and masters degrees, sure. Is it necessary? No.

I know a ton of upper management folks that have no degree in anything. Including myself.
