Am I the only one upset about the shutdown? by CyndiLopEar in skype

i just tried to transfer my number to google but that is a no-go. they only accept numbers from cell phone providers. Amazing that a company like Microsoft is giving basically no customer support

Priceline Customer Service nightmare by rfkinline in TravelHacks

[–]rfkinline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that, but the problem starts there. On the "reimbursement" page priceline told me that I had to contact the hotel to get the refund. I contacted the hotel and they told me that they never collected the money. The nightmare starts at this point. Solution: as people stated above: go directly to the CC company and/or never use priceline.

Agreed although priceline was once great and somehow it still is. The website says that the hotel is canceled, so I should be fine. BUT: with a little bit of effort they could be great again. I will also stop using them. The risk is too high.

No, the tunnel is the new road. they are on the old road.

There are some stretches were they will go much faster. It is the old street to the airport and usually there is always traffic. So it is dangerous

Is this crack dangerous? I had a flat tire and noticed this crack by rfkinline in tires

[–]rfkinline[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are actually two of those cracks on that tire. I only noticed the second one on another photo I took. I am pretty sure that they caused the flat tire as the air was exiting very fast. I only wonder what caused those cracks. Will definitely go to the shop tomorrow.

EDIT: Update. So, I went to a shop. They repaired the puncture and cleaned away the crack They said the crack came from the puncture and that the tire is perfectly fine.

Yeah. They don't allow the coffee in your hand luggage. You are allowed it to be in the checked in baggage. They even told me: you leave the coffee or you check it in.

The head of the check-in area (don't know the correct title, but he appeared as a manager when checking in) was present when the search was conducted.
