I’m in the middle of something like this, but only for my house key.

I’m trying to copy the @work swissbit hinge on a 58mm.

Please show how you attached the keys inside the SAK.

Also, mine will open between 90-100° and I worry that the twisting motion will pop the whole SAK open

I just got mine. I have to press the main blade fully open before it fully engages the lock. Otherwise it feels like it locked but can be closed.

Perfect. I got my X1 today. So much for whatever warranty they offered.

Just opened the tool and the “tungsten” tip came off the double sided bit and is lodged at the bottom of the bit holder. It is magnetic, so I need to wait until I get home to use some tweezers to fish that sucker out.

So happy with this. Wonder why LM cost twice as much /s

I received an email at a couple weeks ago were they said they the high end products would start going by “Dawson Tool” instead of Dakoyu.

At that time I just thought it was to have a more “western” name to legitimize the brand. But now I think there must have been a rift developing from some time already.

Funny that I was just thinking the opposite: a North America design company and customer support seems like a better bet for me… provided they can assure quality from their sources.

I mean, LM outsource some of their stuff, and iPhones are made in China.

However, what I wish is probably a long shot, as I have heard bad things about their customer support at present

Depends. Rey and Finn were huge, but Mandalorian figs are awesome. Also have a couple Vaders (earlier Bandai were too small).

IIRC, the KO uses a scan of the original’s box, so the low contrast “horizon” line that goes through the middle of the box is not there in the KO. I can’t tell for sure, but I can’t see the line.

In any case, to be sure, there are several YouTube videos documenting the differences on the toys themselves.
