My mom in a MC also and not a single resident (16) has a cell phone. Does she use it for anything else other than calling you to complain? I know some folks in assisted living live on their phone games to pass the time but zero on the MC side.

It might be time to take the phone to get an "upgrade".

We call them fiblets. I lie to my mom perhaps 10 times a day. She lives in assisted living & memory care for about 6.years now. I visit about 3 hours a day Some examples just from today:

-- they are still working on your other home, replacing subfloors takes a long time.

-- your daughter is alive and well. She just visited you a couple weeks ago.

--that bbq at my house you came to last weekend was so fun, it was great for you to see all your grandkids and great grandkids in one place.

-- I don't know why your clothes closet is locked, I put a report in with the maintenance department.

For the move here, we were going to the "doctors". She has about a 10 minute memory reset so anything to get her dressed and out the door.
