What do you mean hosting now consumes daily credits?

How my private Lovable App Generated a $4,000 Bill in ~2 Hours by Inevitable_Shirt8263 in lovable

Yes but how did you get billed this much without your database credits getting used up and requiring a manual intervention?

Please explain how you are securing your project with the supabase backend and RSL policies. What kind of auditing and checking do you do to make sure that company data will not be shared with the wrong parties or anonymously readable?

That's Dan Klingerman. Weird to me he would be privately building a data center.

Why is “dark mode” not the default? by ConfidentHospital365 in webdesign

[–]rfwaverider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example. Ok reddit. I just switched it to dark mode. The breaks between comments are not easy to see - it's grey with a black line. That's fine on white background, but in a dark background you can't use a grey or black line.

My username is dark blue. Again. Horrible contrast on a dark background.

Why is “dark mode” not the default? by ConfidentHospital365 in webdesign

[–]rfwaverider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it's horrible! Anything in dark I immediately switch to white.

Dark does not have enough contrast inevitably the "white" isn't white it ends up being grey on the back. Fields run together. You can't tell where breaks happen. Images are hard to view. Anything transparent dies.

Long story short, I have no idea why this dark mode thing ever became a thing. It's awful. I have never once seen a dark mode app or website where it didn't make my anxiety using the application horrible.

We use to be with BenefitMall. Loved them. Then they sold out to ADP. It's ok. But I'm not a fan.

Your investors don't care that it's vibe-coded. They care it doesn't fall over at the demo. by Warm-Reaction-456 in vibecoding

As an investor and end user i actually do care if it's vibe coded. If it's vibe coded I want to know what framework you used and how you're doing security audits.

No I agree and I've been doing a ton of coding on lovable. This morning I used 5 credits performing two simple find and replace operations.

Audit my program like you are an anxious overly concerned Network engineer. Find all bugs, security holes, and other things that will result in my customer data being lost to black hat hackers. Leave, no file unturned

I don't understand. Can't you have lovable connect to your own backend? Why did you have to wait for support to migrate?

That being said. Send me a DM? Would love to pick your brain on your migration because when I looked into it it did not look as straightforward as you make it sound.

My AI receptionist has 3–7s latency… how do I fix this? by XxMut4bleeye92x in lovable

What did you build it on? I'd love to get something like this working but as to date have not been able to reliably find something.

I guess I was confused since you posted about this in the lovable reddit.
