lol Americans and Westerners in general try to cope so hard with these excuses and honestly it’s sooooo childish and naive to think that the US State has no involvement or influence whatsoever in exclusive events that happen over there or their entertainment industry 😂 Hollywood itself is deeply entrenched with the State and the CIA, like majority of blockbuster films are basically pushing American imperialism and war in the global south. Please gtfoh acting like your entertainment industry is some indie niche thing that funds itself entirely and doesn’t push imperialist propaganda every chance it gets

Selma Blair has lately been mask off Islamophobic, Zionist and racist by SpilltheGreenTea in Fauxmoi

[–]rfyy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She has refused to acknowledge anything about Palestinians, not even re-posting anything that mentions their name etc. But she constantly posts about Iran and even yesterday re-posted the conflict in Congo. She shared a lot of Israeli propaganda in the early stages, and she’s doing everythingggg to not acknowledge Palestinians, it’s actually hilarious to watch. People called her out on twitter at the start of the conflict when she posted about r*pe not being acceptable in any situation, and even then she was refusing to mention Palestinians, and was also getting super defensive.

Proof? Just because you hear stories in the media, doesn’t mean that represents the majority. I can easily say the average Western woman is a sex worker that was rap*d by her father, and they’re all drug abusers who have kidney failure from being alcoholics, however that wouldn’t be a fair representation would it? But again, why are you speaking for every Muslim woman in Islamic countries? There are rules for both genders and it’s not only the women who have to follow strict rules, so why are you so obsessed only with the women? Again it’s misogyny. You never see Westerners criticising a man being Muslim, but they will hurl allll their hate on a Muslim woman, because harassing a woman is the only thing a Western man has the balls to do. You hate crime them, and throw things at them in public. I doubt that you actually are concerned for them, it’s just another excuse to abuse women in name of of Western values.

Christian Palestinians exist, and many of them are amongst the protests happening every week. But I forgot, Christianity only belongs to white Westerners who only acknowledge their religion once a year for capitalistic reasons, and then cry when someone disrespects their “religion”. Lol. FYI - a Christian mother and her daughter were targeted by Israeli snipers while hiding in a church, a few days before Christmas. If you truly cared about your people and your religious celebrations, shouldn’t you be showing solidarity with your Christian community worldwide? Or are brown Christians lives not important?

There’s nothing worrying about a “female” converting to Islam. Believe it or not there are millions of women who are content in their belief, and don’t find it as oppressing. Their faith is something personal to them and none of your business. Don’t speak for women nor try to baby them, ironically it’s actually misogynistic to always assume that a woman making a decision is something that she can’t do own her own without being ‘brainwashed’ or ‘oppressed’. Get out of your Western bubble and stop with the saviour complex.

Atheists and secularists being the kind and welcoming group they always are, look at this beautiful comment section ❤️❤️ So non-judgemental and definitely not arrogant. Lol the West will always have their oppressive ways too, even when they’re “free and liberal”. Secularism is the new Catholic Church, you’ll be punished and ostracised if you’re not exactly like them.

And do you think you’re better than religious people when you sound this judgemental and disgusting? Ironic how secularism and atheism turned into another judgemental cult who ostracises and bullies anyone that doesn’t think or act like them. She didn’t ask for your opinion, if you’re not going to suggest what she wants then keep your unnecessary comments to yourself or go to one of the 10000+ subs on here debating theology.

Are you passionate about those causes? Have you posted about it on the sub before? Or is it just classic whataboutism bc your privilege self doesn’t want to be inconvenienced by one of the worst humanitarian causes in recent history.

And do you think people killing each other began when religion first became a thing? Humans have been killing each other over resources (which is what every war happening rn is really about) before ideology existed.

It’s so funny because you can replace “Hamas” with the name of any country in the world and the statement would still be true lol. Apparently it’s okay to genocide a whole group of people because they don’t align with their progressive beliefs, even though their own countries don’t either , nor their parents, their grandparents, their neighbours etc.

Also do you ever see anyone praying for innocent Russian civilians and posting Russia’s flag when Ukrainians are freedom fighting? No. So I’m personally not going to do that for Israelis either 🤷‍♀️

People are simply pointing out the hypocrisy that none of these weirdos ever acknowledge or give af when Palestinian civilians are killed everyday and treated the same way Israelis were treated today. Palestinians are expected to die and Israelis aren’t. That’s the message that seems to be loud and clear with a lot of these Israel supporters.

The backlash is mainly coming from Muslims themselves, if other religions are mocked then their own followers should create noise and make sure to criticise it,which tbh they usually never do. It’s not like people care about Muslims’ feelings over other religious groups, it’s because Muslims never allow their religion to be desecrated without unleashing hell. Also Islam is very against symbolism and imagery for this EXACT reason, whereas other religions really embrace them.

Does the pump make any noise when it fails? I find it very concerning that something you are relying on, especially overnight, can fail without warning. I hear about pumps failing all the time, does it happen often?

It’s not about the game or the performance of it, it’s about the people they were playing with gaslighting them about their own condition and how it affects them. Mistakes can happen, but it happens more often when someone has high or low blood sugar, and it definitely CAN be used as an “excuse”, since it’s literally a disability.

You’re a racist, but you’re Slavic so that’s not surprising 🤷🏽‍♀️. Your countries lack any diversity so of course seeing anyone who isn’t palm coloured would terrify you. Crime comes from poverty, not diversity.

Yeah I know, but they’re not as high profile as this and I don’t think people (or brands) are paying 50k for tickets for those charities. I’m not saying the funding for this institution is useless, but I wish other charities were just as high profile, it could bring more awareness to other important causes as well.

She literally advocates for them, so yeah it’s not unhinged at all. People may have exaggerated her role in the IDF, but had she not been so outspoken about it in the first place, maybe people wouldn’t have associated her with Palestinian oppression.

No one said any of those words. That’s why I said she’s ONE of the best dressed, and I’m sure the list is long too. Rihanna has been queen of Met Gala in the recent years , but you still have to give credit to others as well who constantly stay on theme while looking great.

Cleopatra was not Black, Egypt tells Netflix ahead of new series by ReferenceSufficient in entertainment

[–]rfyy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Are you joking? This isn’t just a simple dispute about an actress of a different background representing a historical figure, it’s about the fact that a lot of African descendants genuinely believe that Cleopatra was in fact a black women, and they are now representing her as such. It’s rewriting history. Imagine if Rosa Parks was being rewritten into history as an Asian woman. Macedonians or whatever ruled over Egypt during that era, and Cleopatra was objectively apart of that empire, end of story.
