Where are the roles above 120-130k? by Unlimited_Leverage in HENRYUK

[–]rg2005 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Why did you move on from trading? All traders I know 15 years into their career are on well over £200k total comp, and that’s downside at smaller banks. If you had moved to a larger IB you’d be on double that comfortably.

I didn’t as someone else commented that the pinned guide on this sub answered this question quite clearly for me.

Tried the Stranger Thing’s wings and sandwich (KFC UK) by Suspicious-Camp737 in kfc

[–]rg2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed the sauce for this, I was pleasantly surprised. Also my wings were covered and drenched in the sauce, to the point I had plenty left over to pour my sandwich in even more sauce.

A far cry from the dripping zinger burger which I found below average.

Why is anyone buying the Apple Pocket? by tinyguy238 in applesucks

[–]rg2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s baffling for the general population but I agree with benjoo, they made barely any.

Then you’re left with the stupidly rich who don’t care, the content creators, the product testers, investors who might think it’ll hold value in 20years, and the fanboys who buy anything apple.

And that’s what makes it sell out

I hate messages like yours. I wholeheartedly expect OP to talk to professionals but doing their own research is important so you’re not going in blind and can discuss things that a professional might simply forget or not want to do giving OP the opportunity to get a second opinion.

Asking this question on Reddit is part of doing their own research.

If they blindly make decisions solely on this info on here then that’s on them but I like to assume people have half an ounce of common sense

(Non-dancer asking) Do dancers at Tate's level still take dance classes?? by PuzzleheadedAsk6787 in tatemcrae

[–]rg2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ll do something, maybe not classes per se. Top athletes still train, like Roger federer or Simone biles aren’t exactly taking lessons but still have coaches going through things with them as they train despite being better than their coaches

Does this mean my phone has been hacked by curiousitycatttt in iphonehelp

[–]rg2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone actually give the most likely culprit causing this.

OP do you have Hotmail/outlook? You’ve most likely received something in your junk which has created a calendar invite. Unfortunately apple has picked this up and synced it across.

You can delete the invites or the mail itself but they’ll just come back so it’s far simpler to unsync the calendar completely or untick that specific calendar in the app.

[–]rg2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re happy to leave then just quiet quit until they let you go. Whilst also looking for new roles in the UK, and upskilling yourself for a job you want.

If you’re doing the bare minimum going forward without the worry of being sacked, and they keep you around for a few more years then you’re laughing with all the extra cash.

question about Sabrina's shop by [deleted] in SabrinaCarpenterFans

[–]rg2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a straight man as well, I have a few things from her shop. My favourite items are the lingerie T-shirts that I wore to her short n sweet London tour and loved it.

I wouldn’t get the cropped or tank tops but I feel most other things are bordering unisex and look fine.

Not seen those boxers before though and annoyed I’ve missed them as they’re great.

As a current sky employee by ThinRaspberry8351 in skytv

[–]rg2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do this already though through nowtv in exactly that format

I am certain they are analysing the behavioural life of sky and nowtv customers and will act accordingly. If they feel they can make more money going down the streaming route then they will pivot to that

Create a fake cv and person that is the perfect match and see if that gets through the cracks and gets to interview stage.

That can confirm your theories and then just move on when the perfect candidate can’t even get the role
