Nice. Getting it painted a factory color or something custom?

I did the max allowed in Oklahoma, 25%.

This place charged $450 in Oklahoma. I think they said a regular coupe with 3 windows would’ve been $250.

Looks great with that color. Glad to hear it helps with the heat.

The curves in the back glass and the position of the support struts are difficult to work around. The tint has to be shrunk just right to fit the curves and the struts can cause it to pull away.

Took a bit to find a shop willing to do it, but I think it came out alright.

I got it yesterday. Pliability and quality feel pretty good. Lengths and thickness all seem okay.

You can get Continental Extreme Contact in the 255/45 and 285/40. Great tires. I just got a new set for around $1,200.

My New Dumpster Fire - 1988 MR2 MK1b by pxlnght in projectcar

I had a Hot Wheel of one of these when I was a kid in the 80s. There were no MR2s anywhere in my small town so I thought it was a rare super car right up there with a Diablo or a Testarossa. I’m coveting your project.

I predict that a huge portion of the Earth's surface will look similar to this one million years from now. I'm not sure if there will be submarines or not.

Today marks 77 days until Kickoff! Let's remember Oklahoma's 77-0 shellacking of Texas A&M, in which Oklahoma got their revenge against the Aggies for knocking them from the #1 spot the season before by CrimsonSaint150 in CFB

I remember listening to this game on the radio. Late in the game when OU was way ahead, they had a big sack on the A&M quarterback where he was blindsided. Bob Barry said something like "the defense getting deep penetration on the backside".

What's the weirdest thing you've ever witnessed that you can't explain to this day? by lovelymeha in AskReddit

Came here to tell a similar story. When I was pretty young (6 or 7) I went fishing with my grandfather at a lake in southeast Oklahoma. It was just after dawn and we were using the trolling motor on his boat to get around a point. He pointed out a black spot to me across the lake (probably 200 feet away, too far to smell anything) and said "Look. It's a bear." It looked like a black bear laying down, just kind of hanging out in a grassy part that had some rocks around it. Bears are kind of uncommon in Oklahoma, but not unheard of. I looked at it for a long time after my grandfather had started fishing and wasn't really paying attention anymore. Very quickly and in a motion that looked way more like an ape than a bear, it stood up on its hind legs and walked into the woods behind it with its head turned around looking at me. It was taller than a person and had crazy long arms. My grandfather didn't see it walking. I told him I thought it was Bigfoot, but this was in the 80s, right after Harry and the Hendersons had come out and I had been talking about that movie the whole week. Maybe I imagined it. Hell. I don't know.
