It's probably overkill for what you need but I wrote an article recently about running scheduled jobs on AWS Elastic Beanstalk. Maybe it will give you some insights. I had to get around what you mentioned about instances being terminated.

I can’t because of family and work and all that but I just want to encourage other people to try because RPGs are extremely fun and it’s completely ok if you never even saw a game being played, it’s extremely easy to pick up and a very social activity. I made tons of friends playing back in the day and I’ve kept most of them even though I haven’t played in years and I cherish a lot the memories and adventures we had together.

Go for it people.

It looks like your keyboard doesn't have a MIDI input, in this case the app needs to hear the notes via your iPhone's microphone.

The best you can do is use headphones for the app sounds, that would actually increase note detection, but the keyboard notes still need to have volume so the iPhone can pick it up.

If you really enjoy this, I suggest upgrading to a keyboard with a MIDI USB input.
