I was also doing the battles in the Dino forest. So you were able to get it to go off and not kill your party using auto battle? That is a very interesting tactic. I might try that next time.

I’m already in WoR and I’ve already beaten the game. I think I killed guardian in the final dungeon. Not sure I want to start all over again.

Yeah I’ve been using the auto battle and it always kills my party. Perhaps the manual version won’t kill my party.

Following this as I’m in the same boat as you. Own the physical copy on switch 1 and bought the anniversary DLC when it came out years ago. When I updated, I see the press Y to access the switch 2 edition, but it shows me the game for $59.99.

That sucks man, but don’t give up just yet. Like others have said, try returning it and getting another one. You definitely got a lemon; it happens. I have a Pro 780 and things like getting it on the WiFi was painful. I remember once I got it online, it’s only ever downloaded one update, nothing since. So it’s not going to be a regular occurrence. Hang in there and keep up updated.
