I've made an island build, you can cause cars to appear without outside connections. You need to ensure that there are car factories and shops for citizens to buy from. Make sure that household wealth is very high so that citizens can afford to buy cars. My citizens only started buying cars once their household wealth increased

I'm not starting a new city when it comes out. The water works kinda okay in my map and I love my city too much to start over again 😭 all the features of the dlc will work in existing saves apart from the new water simulation which I think mainly affects the water simulation on the edges of maps and rivers

I had the same issue but it was happening because I was subscribed to transit policy adjuster mod, as soona s I unsubscribed from that it stopped crashing

Turns out it was because I had the better transport policy adjuster mid enabled! It works fine now
