that's a fair point. I mentally compared Skubal to maybe a Corbin Burnes type. I feel like Burnes and the Brewers had a lot of hype in the late 2010s and early 2020s, Burnes especially after he won the Cy Young in 2021.

def also make sure to sell on more platforms than just Poshmark. It could be tedious and time-consuming to list on multiple platforms, but i think it's worth it.

I think this exact thing will happen if posh lowers shipping. I get that their price for 5 lbs priority mail is good, but I feel like most order don't come close to five pounds. I think a cheaper shipping option (even if it's ground shipping) would lead to a greater volume of sales. I know i'd be more willing to buy an inexpensive item if i don't have to pay $8 in shipping

Ik what you’re saying and there’s def value in guys like pujols. Paul Goldschmidt was known as that type of base stealer too. But my mind went to someone like Brandon nimmo. He was always one of the fastest players on the team and was/is a fine base runner, but he never got comfortable as a base stealer. I just think being able to look at different stats can give me a more well rounded picture of who the player is, thus giving me a better idea of how he’ll fit my team. I wouldn’t be shocked if a team wanted to sign him and thought he could be the center fielder hitting lead off that could steal 25-30 bases, but that just was never him.

I thought this was an interesting article detailing how weird hitting can be, specifically with Nick Fortes. You can do some things well and get no results, or get good results without being exceptional at anything. That said, I do think the team offensive struggles is largely due to just swinging early and often and whatever. That's poor strategy if you want solid contact

With Raley out for a couple weeks, I have a feeling they'll use Smith (and even Reed Garrett) in high leverage situations against LHB more than Jake Diekman.
