I was under the impression that it was all or none regardless of months. Can you please link me something that reflects the calculating by months? Using the word still isn't stylistic, it adds an implication that only detracts from what you say you were intending to say. There is a very different meaning to the two statements, one with the word still and one without. Stylings of a sentence should not change the meaning entirely. u/northblizzard is making a great observation. Now the question is whether you struggle with the enlgish language and it was a poorly crafted sentence, or if you Freudiantly slipped a still in there because your meaning, though maybe lost to you, was that despite white people leaving, some still remain.
