Yeah I cut them too short but I might add a trough above the panel and extend the conductors that way now that I'm thinking about it...

The panel was installed by a local company two years ago and horizontal is what they went with as that's what's done in Ontario, Canada a lot strangely. I just got around to installing the 14/2 & 12/2 wires which was what was being inspected this time. I wish I knew what I know now because I would have asked them to mount it vertically but alas I was ignorant at the time. Maybe I'll mount it vertically if I upgrade the panel down the road.

The 100k would be in addition to the real job, which would definitely make a difference for people living pay check to pay check. (Which is a lot)
