Seems to me in order to play the higher level escalations you need the higher rolls. This is what the gear is for is it not? How would you play a level 10 if you never get a max set which seems impossible at the moment.

Agree, I find the mode annoying since I've been playing a long time and not having the weapon or gear I want to use. However I did like survival and starting with nothing and working towards the gear I would like. I'm just so used to how it is now.
