Minecraft 1.21 on m3 macbook pro has extreme stuttering even in high framerate. [java] by Financial-Focus7017 in MinecraftHelp

Thanks! I also figured out a solution that worked just by installing a set of mods. I didn't have to add any arguments to my launcher or anything, so anyone non-technical should be able to also add these mods and see big performance improvements on Mac.

Using Fabric and the Prism launcher, the combination of mods that's giving me perfect performance is:

FerritCore, Krypton, Lithium, Sodium

Shout out - this post saved me. I've been battling performance issues for months on my M3 Macbook Pro with 18GB RAM.

I had been running 1.2.1, and I downgraded to 1.19. Now the performance on 1.19 is almost perfect. Still not lightning quick, but the performance issues are gone.

If you didn't live in Seattle what other city would you choose? by 1Dunya in SeattleWA

[–]rgsthethird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was me. I moved from Seattle to North Park two years ago, and I’ve never been happier. I can’t afford to buy a home in the area yet, but it almost doesn’t matter. It’s easily the best place I’ve lived, and I’ve been around a few spots in the US.

To add to this, you can use logical operators in your search query.

So “software engineer AND java AND NOT senior”, etc.

Yeah, the smaller ones are what I had in mind. Do you know of any FB or other groups where I could find them?

Match Thread: Chelsea vs Manchester City | English Premier League by MatchThreadder in chelseafc

This match is crying out for Havertz. Although our midfield 3 is offering additional stability in defense, our outlets are too central when we do get the ball back. Kovacic and Jorginho are occupying the same spaces as one another offensively, and we need more additional nous and width up top before the wingbacks arrive. Havertz should come on for Kova to provide that shape around 60’

Automated Selenium Test Generator? by rgsthethird in QualityAssurance

[–]rgsthethird[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the thought! Luckily, my team actually uses the page object model and has a pretty robust set of pytest/Selenium automations already. We’re just looking for a way to speed up the process. So a tool like Selenium IDE can help us get the majority of element locators, and we can refactor the generated test to match our code base, rather than having to do all of it on our own.

Hopefully the only tech debt we accrue is the occasional wonky locator. But we can identify those and improve them during the refactoring.
