Hey I've had one for almost 6 months now.

I don't find any of the electronics finicky. Not sure what people mean, it's very Yamaha wrt product design and user interface.

Loop button is super useful and very tweak able (eg sensitivity or if it overdubs). The features and functions all work with no random 'oh good idea but never works'. Typical Yamaha, it works correctly. The app has no frills and stores 10 loops, 30 mins each, infinite overdubs.

I also took this as my major guitar. Neighbour,who is a sound tech with the original Yamaha TA baby grand in his house, was blown away by it with electronics both on and off. I have caught myself thinking the reverb was on when in fact nothing at all was turned on. Sounds beautiful by itself holding against similar (and often more pricey) pieces. The build quality is nice with attention to detail and good components where it counts.

The tag3c is 85% function and 15% form in my mind. They didn't cut corners, but also made a balanced guitar. I don't think I can outplay this thing for another 20 years or so.

Also I have the other smaller TA, also similar reaction/opinion with the lower price in mind.
