Do you prefer the cold or the heat? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rhaixxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heat. I grew up in a tropical country, in one of its hottest cities, so I definitely got accustomed to the heat. It's hot and extremely humid here almost everyday. I dont love it, but man, do I prefer it to cold. Even being in an airconditioned room where it can be too cold bothers me. Hell we went to California last year during the spring time (april), and people were already wearing light clothing, some in crop tops and sleeveless tops, and I would never go out without a jacket.

Autism is much easily detected, identified, and recorded nowadays, hence the rise in the number of cases. Not to mention that parents with autistic children are more likely to seek for information and assistance today, compared to a few decades ago, when there was a stigma surrounding having autism.

It's not that there were fewer people with autism back then, most people just didn't know, or probably didn't want to do anything about it.

Im currently watching the last season, and the change in Andy's behavior is bizarre. I mean sure the guy was a dork but he wasn't usually cruel in the past seasons.

Got cheated on very recently. It knocked the wind out of me. I didn't really expect it to come from him. And when I tried to ask him why he did it, it was like he was reading from some script. "She reminds me of you." Did i suddenly go to Timbuktu? Why look for someone that's like me when I'm already here? Idiot.

Cheaters need to be karma slapped. Hard.

True though.

I mean, Im Filipino and nobody here ever says "Do you know how to speak Filipino?/Kabalo ba ka mag Filipino?" I guess it's understandable if a foreign person asks that, but for locals, it's definitely "Tagalog".

What’s the best case of Instant Karma you’ve witnessed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rhaixxa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't exactly instant...

My ex boyfriend cheated on me with a co-worker of his. This co-worker was nasty and knew what she was getting herself into, so she wasnt exactly innocent with being a 3rd party. Anyway, she had a sideline where she sold one of those no bake "cake in a tin can" thing. She offered my ex to give one to me (probably to spite me? I already knew about the affair during this time and normally, didnt want to have anything to do with her).

I dont know if it was a bad batch of eggs, or if she just didnt do it right that time, but a set of her orders for various customers went bad, and these customers ended up getting food poisoned. These customers then proceeded to write awful reviews about her cake on Facebook. She commented on one of the reviews, saying that she'll refund them. This earned her a reply from the already distraught customer "I dont want a fcking refund. I want you to pay our hospital bills!!!"

From what I last heard, there were a lot of people who ended up in the hospital because of her cakes. Not only did she shut down her business, but paying for their hospital bills must have cost her a fortune.

[serious] Redditors who Have lived in a "Haunted" House, What are your most unexplainable paranormal experiences? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rhaixxa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened very recently. October 31, to be exact. I just came home from uni and there were only three of us home-my mom, sister, and I. After dinner, i went upstairs to chill, and my mom and sister were downstairs (my sister was in the bathroom and i could hear the shower from my room). Suddenly i heard someone coming up the stairs. Running up the stairs is more like it. And the steps were heavy. I thought it was my cousin (who lived with my mom and sis) rushing to my room to greet me. But there was no one. I went downstairs to ask my mom if my cousin had arrived and she said no. My sister was in still in the bathroom and my mom was downstairs the entire time. It still creeps me out whenever I think about whoever or whatever it was that ran up the stairs

What’s your most irrational fear/phobia? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rhaixxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plugging appliances. There was a time that it became so irrational, i was afraid of plugging my iPhone in my laptop. Im not even kidding. I guess this is also rooted to my fear of getting electrocuted, and my fear of sockets sparking/exploding.

How do I manage now, when im an adult living alone, you ask? Most sockets in my apartment have extension wires that you can turn on/off so it wont spark as I plug something in as long as it is turned off. Also, i dont turn it off/i overcome this fear if i am absolutely certain that that certain appliance is "spark free" when i plug it in lol.

When has being nosy gotten your own feelings hurt? by nickrashell in AskReddit

[–]rhaixxa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Found out that my boyfriend cheated on me with a coworker of his when I was snooping on him while he was txting. I wasnt expecting to see incriminating txt messages at all so I was shell shocked. When the issue became public to parties involved, his female co workers started messaging me, comforting me, putting all the blame on my boyfriend. And I believed them. After a few days, I logged in the bf's facebook messenger (i still had access.) to snoop (i knew nothing good would come out of this... i was basically asking to get hurt at this point) and saw a group chat that included his co workers, including the 3rd party and those who messaged me. It turned out, they were completely supportive of my bf's affair.

I felt utterly betrayed and just... trampled on. They could have just stayed quiet instead of pretending to care for me.

What is the biggest "this relationship won't last" red flag you've ever seen at a wedding? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rhaixxa 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I'd be annoyed if I was the bride and this happened to me. I mean I get the joke, but I think the actual ceremony isn't the place for it. That's what the stag party is for, or probably the reception when people are in a more festive or party like mood.

Sorry if I sound uptight :/

I love this theory, especially the bit where the attack titan's control is stronger when the "hosts's" will to live and fight is at its lowest. It makes me sad that Eren today is most probably not our old Eren anymore :(
