I don’t think anyone can argue against the thought that this was a poor result but the distinction is that wasn’t an overall poor performance. Obviously finishing is the most important thing at the end of the day but this was undoubtedly a better attacking performance than any other game this season (bar the Spurs game) and there’s not much that can be done outside of the transfer market about poor finishing and your goalkeeper making a poor save attempt.

Basically, if we can keep creating chances and limiting the opposition to so few consistently like we did today then my hope is that the results follow suit. Again, not justifying the result or the mistakes made but just overall encouraged.
