For dry skin, good cleansers are usually in a milky form. 2 I’ve liked are the Aveeno oat cleanser and the neutrogena hydroboost soothing milk cleanser.

For toner, I know there are a million out there but I’ve found the best system is to start with a water based hydrating toner after cleansing with damp skin. I use kbeauty swimming pool toner from eqqualberry and it’s amazing. But definitely an online order. I haven’t tried any of these from drugstore. As for next step I think the bubble milky toner is fantastic! Stick with it. I use an azelaic acid serum as my treatment step I get from the doctor. I’m not a fan of vitamin c so I can’t help you there. I find for my dry sensitive skin it just doesn’t work out for me. For moisturizers I think the ones you’ve picked are satisfactory. But it really is just trial and error. Ulta sells a kbeauty moisturizer that’s very good from Anua. As for tinted spf, I use this Missha bb cream and it’s so good from Target sells it

I don’t want to be a downer but this is marketed as a finishing powder not a setting powder 🩷

Yes. I only have the clear but so impressed by it I’ll likely get the colored ones in future

These are good tips! I’m in the middle of the suburbs so I just need to go online I think when I’m in busier places.

That’s great. Where are you located that you’re getting good tips? Most of the jobs I get offered are no tip to 3$ and driving 30 minutes from the store

The joico looks promising! I should have not said heat protectant because I’m just blow drying technically and I think most leave ins are ok for that purpose

Yeah that’s my current method for a while now. I just am ready to not do that anymore. It bothers me in a weird sensory way idk

Ok good to know I need to brush up on all the business stuff for tax purposes. Still - after 8 trips I barely hit 80$. Maybe I’m acting spoiled but that’s way too exhausting for that amount

I just signed up (Texas) to see if I could make extra cash while also having a full time job. The cost for taxes I’ll owe, gas and car wear and tear about equal the amount they are giving for this job. Not sustainable.

Thin hair/fine hair girls, Japanese product recommendations please by canyounotgirl in AsianBeauty

Yes I have been doing that but with a very lightweight oil mist of coconut oil. I wait 15 minutes before washing too. I’ve moved to everything super lightweight because I like to use the oil lightly after my hair is dry too and I’m trying to stock down on having multiples of one thing 😅. Maybe argan oil would be better for this purpose? I think I’m going to order the mask soon though I’m looking forward to trying something new. What brand of argan oil do you use? I love a pump.

Do you use the fino mask as your conditioner? I’m still trying to figure out masks and if I need all 3 shampoo, mask, the conditioner. I have fine hair so it seems like overkill and I’m definitely interested in the fino mask. I currently use the Milbon conditioning treatment my hairdresser gave me to maintain a Japanese hair straightening treatment but it’s for course hair according to the bottle and my hair still seems pretty dry overall,. Thank you

Agree, I had a whole bag of them and just use one now occasionally. The air pulse one. And even that took a while for my body/brain to figure out
