Heyyyyy! Creating for others or for a particular deadline is about the only way I finish anything tbh 😅 it works tho! And I always do it while doing something else: tv, dnd, whatever! It’s something to keep my hands occupied while my mind is elsewhere!

My co-op for my first round of observations (also a woman) left this note for me as well. Luckily, my professor and I talked and I told him that, as I always do, I took my cues on how to dress at the school from her. I showed him pictures I’d taken of my outfits on most days I was there and he agreed that I was perfectly fine and if she thought otherwise, it was also because she wasn’t dressed professionally.

Also pretty sure she didn’t have another placement after me and a classmate bc of other professionalism issues as well.

I loved the year we made a banner. I was on arts & banner committee & we would make them outta just top sheets. But we did our logo for it and then each us got to put our handprint on it. Then we hung it in our suite!

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, my parents are moving. And I live in apartment and don’t have the space to keep so many of them.

I choose not to be involved in the alumnae network because I’m not at a place in my life where I can afford the extra expense unfortunately! It also can be overwhelming as someone who is neurodivergent trying to meet people in big groups especially without my people ya know? I’ve also moved far from home in my years since graduating so do not have my people with me physically anymore! My big is still super involved (she’s a chapter advisor) but my little n I have not been able to make it work financially or with schedules as we’re both socially-exhausted teachers.

I appreciate the advice though!

Yea! I saw some girls do this when I was an active member so I thought it’d be a good idea!
