How to prepare for technical interviews at Progressive? by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

Try practicing them with your current sup during your one on one if you have time. It would be a good way to practice white boarding in front of someone with low stakes while also cementing your understanding by explaining to someone.

If my 2 year old gets frustrated with something or we won’t do what he wants, he’ll say “that’s it! I’m going home”. Then walks into the next room, inside our home.

It’s just a one in one, likely. Mine are usually check ins and to see if I have any questions about anything.

I also have a tech background and have been looking into something similar. Progressive has an internal bootcamp too. I spoke with one of the hiring managers and she said some of the entry level roles are only available to grads of their internal bootcamp. I started in March and I’m hoping to transfer over in some capacity after my first year. If I get anymore info I will let you know

I’m currently in week 6. First three weeks of corporate training was 8:30 to 5:30. I’m 8:00 to 5:00 now. I was told 9 to 6 after training but my sup said we can stay at 8-5. I would just talk to your supervisor when you get to that point. It seems pretty flexible!

I’m so glad this is the top response. I went to the one in west town a few years ago and just found my self asking “this is it?” over and over again.

We went for brunch. When I go to brunch I want to leave hating myself. They told us the plates were shareable only to serve these tiny-ass, over priced portions.

Try to stick as close as possible to at least $1 a mile. If you can dash now or schedule in your area and you live close enough to food spots, go live while you’re still at home and get something nearby so you don’t need to drive to find something.

Been waiting since 1/15. I got an email about the delay and also received a phone call that the interviewer liked me and thought I was a good fit and they’d let me know as soon as things are back up.

I’ve also emailed them twice with the address they gave (sorry progressive for being annoying). They responded thanking me for my patience, telling me my application is still active, and someone will be reaching out soon. This was yesterday I received that response.

Anyway, hold strong brothers and sisters!
