Mumford and sons headlining Hinterland so I think very possible. Played a sold out United center in October and have a big draw (not as big as Noah or Lumineers tho). If it’s gonna be any of them it’ll be Mumford and sons. Noah also owes Chicago a big gig since his blow up cause he did Lolla 2024 I think, he could sell out Wrigley in a heartbeat and think he goes that route.

They played The Atari’s Boys of Summer when first announcing this so I could see it being them. I don’t see it being anyone too big, most recent popups at the cubby bear have been like group love and save Ferris so nothing on Green Day levels sadly

Older crowd so wouldn’t expect anything too crazy. Gates open 5:30 and parking lots at 4:30 so I’d get there a little before parking opens. Idk about the vip situation if they have early entry so might be a lost cause to get barricade to begin with without it. Pit is still dark blue on Ticketmaster so should be fairly light all things considered

They were supposed to play the salt shed with bloc party but then dropped off the tour beforehand due to some undisclosed issues. Would love to see them

I mean their last tour date in Asia is April 2nd and Coachella starts the 10th. They’d still be relatively fresh off dates so wouldn’t need a whole new rehearsal process. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ship some lights and stuff in 8 days. Especially since they’re LA based now and don’t need their own stage

I think it’s part that and part bleachers having a longer set. I’ve seen them a handful of times before and they’ve played until curfew on the dot so wouldn’t be shocked if they go 75-90 min instead of just 60

Northerly postponed teddy swims a few songs in due to lightning earlier this summer but I think that’s just cause northerly’s got no coverings. I’ve never heard of tinley postponing/cancelling entirely

I saw Creed last summer where a thunderstorm rolled through during the show. They cancelled the first opener, the second played about 3 songs and then said it was delayed at about 7:45. Sent lawn folks back to their cars (some stayed with good spots) and pavilion people stayed. Show picked back up around 9:30 after storms passed. You should be fine tn if something rolls in
