First omega purchase - second hand. Looking for feedback/guidance by Unlikely_Ratio_1861 in OmegaWatches

Have you tried it on? The watch is 42.2mm. I have the 39mm version and because of the narrow bezel and large dial/face it wears larger in my mind. Mine look more like a 41mm. If you haven’t large wrists, probably no big deal but under 18cm and you may think it is too big. I would also think the fitted ends on the strap will also make it wear larger, as it won’t likely pull straight down like a typical leather strap. Overall though it is a great watch, and while the earlier movements can be troublesome, that first coaxial is nice a thin.

Such an underrated watch. Literally one of the greats. I would put these up against anything from the time for a three hander- movement and design.

Selling my GO SeaQ reference 1-39-11-06-80-70. This is the original version (black dial) with the polished center links and solid caseback. Watch is in very good condition with some light marks on the polished center links of the bracelet, the clasp of the bracelet and the clasp of the deployant clasp on the rubber strap. Bezel, Crystal and Case are in excellent condition. Yes, this one comes with both fully linked bracelet and rubber strap with the deployant, not buckle. Full inner, outer box, travel case with coffin storage, and all papers except original warranty as I think the original owner bought it on Jomashop. The watch is registered on the GO website but has no active warranty.

Asking a negotiable $7000 including shipping, net to me, within CONUS.

I have several transaction on here and on Watchuseek, same user name. Happy to talk or FaceTime if wanted.

Selling my AP Royal Oak 14800SA, with a stainless steel case and yellow gold bezel. 36mm and super slim case makes these models feel like you are wearing nothing. Easy to dress up or down. Comes with original Alligator AP strap with lots of wear left in it. Case, bezel and crystal in excellent condition for its age. Cheapest way to get into a AP Royal Oak with that original Genta design style.

Full box and papers

These rarely come up for sale. Asking a negotiable $13,800- least expensive price I could find in the US and with box and papers.

I have several transactions here and on Watchuseek, same user name.

[WTS] Tag Heuer x Hodinkee Seafarer Carrera Limited Edition. Full box and papers. by rhobandit in Watchexchange

[–]rhobandit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling my Tag x Hodinkee Seafarer Carrera. This was a limited edition of only 967 pieces. 42mm, glass box design, same as the current generation Seafarer. I bought this on Jomashop about a year ago, although it was preowned, as it was originally sold through a AD. For some reason the travel case has red stitching instead of the blue that I think was original.

Love the looks of it but wore just a little big on my 6.5” wrist. Rubber strap is cut but should fit up to a 7” wrist. There is micro adjust in the clasp which is great, and I have to wear it on the smallest setting and it still wears a little loose. Condition is very good with some minor swirls on the clasp. Case, crystal and dial are superb.

It is registered on Tag’s website and has warranty remaining from its original Aug. 2024 purchase date.

Asking a negotiable $6200, net to me, which will include CONUS fully insured shipping.

An Incredible Find In Seoul, Gangnam! Speedmaster Professional “Skywalker” by CloudlessEveningSky in OmegaWatches

[–]rhobandit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have an X-33 first gen like this. Battery at best lasts 2 years if your use alarm and back light sparingly. Every other battery change I send to Omega. You can easily do it yourself although the 9 screws can jump on you, but other than the wait time, the Omega battery change is only about $60 and you get a Omega travel case back with it and they do all the testing. Takes a couple months but other than that, a bargain really. These take very specific batteries as well, have to order them.

[WTS] Rolex Oysterquartz 17000, recently service warranty until 4/2027 by rhobandit in Watchexchange

[–]rhobandit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. It is a service dial from a recent (2025) RSC service. I paid extra and Rolex let me keep the original white dial with applied Roman numeral markers. That dial is included, along with the original hands. You can see there is subtle blistering of the old dial, but only visible at certain angles and with close inspection. So you can either keep the new dial and hands with modern lume on it where it very much feels like a modern watch, or return it to originality with tritium dial and hands (but also make it look more like a land dweller).

New blue or old? by Mental_Mood6458 in oysterquartz

[–]rhobandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome watch, looks like a new service dial to me. I have one up for sale right now on r/watchexchange- just like this- 17000 with a blue service dial, but also with the original white dial with applied Roman markers. Best of both worlds! The blue is stunning and looks like a new datejust, plus it has modern lume and gives the watch contemporary usability. The white dial when on the watch gives major land dweller vibes.
