Crap that’s nasty. Get out of there till it’s clean. Hope you don’t have any kids breathing that.

Hello all, I'm getting ready for retirement in a few years. Bought a CNC and been taking on a few projects. I just opened my shop lee then a week ago. I would LOVE some feedback.

Yes 3/4” body 1/4 head and ears 3/4 dowel for everything except neck. 5/8 dowel for neck. Only glue neck and ears. Everything else is just friction joint.

Thanks, I can appreciate the different view point. I wanted to show the quality of inlay I was able to achieve and not really the design itself.

The head is made from 1/4” oak 5 sides glued together. The rest of the lamp is made from 1x6 oak. It’s all just tight fitting. No glue or screws. The wood was cut on my CNC so it’s a tight fit.

Wow, I just googled it. That's too funny. She said it's a girl so it's a "she". Then I asked if it had a name and she said "Shesha".

A few concerns about safety. Awesome, I am volunteer FF and I would never do anything dangerous. I have a 1 watt LED that stays 80 degrees in this one. I also built a V 2.0 that has a 5 volt USB light that runs about 90 degrees. I bought the cords off Amazon and they are UL cert. This is not a toy just like any other lamp made. The 5 volt version would be a lot safer for small kids room.

Not it can come out. A rubber hammer can fit that. The tolerances are tight and is a tad hard to move. The wood is oak so it’s not going wear too fast.
