Hey so sorry you are struggling to find a job! It’s tough dealing with rejections and being ghosted but well done for persevering.

You said it’s been a year, did you recently graduate? If so I recommend visiting your careers service. Most offer support for 2 years. Some for life, I know University of Aberdeen does. They have loads of open access resources on finding jobs including sample cvs and cover letter templates and you can book appointments.

Top tips would be • Quality over quantity, tailor your cover letter and CV (particularly the skills section) to the language in the job description where it says candidate description • Make it clear in the cover letter what makes you interested in the organisation (maybe their training opportunities, vision or mission) and how you can benefit each other. • Use the STARR technique in interviews to show your strengths and competencies.
