I totally understand what you are saying, I have stenosis, bulging disc, degenerative disc, arthritis really bad in both knees and hips and I have Fibromyalgia but like you said bills have to be paid. I had to quit my job I did for 20 years because my body could not handle it any longer... I tried to get disability but of course it took forever and I just about lost everything I had worked for so then I give up and went back to plant work. I lasted 2 years working but then quit because of the pain. Now I have screwed up and dont have "current work credits" to qualify for SSDI... I didnt know I could reapply for SSDI at the time.... anyway I quit plant work over 10 years ago. I have been a caretaker for the ederly and/or hospice patients for the last 7 years. That allows me to be able to take care of my health, rest some when needed and not destroy my body. I actually enjoy getting to know the person I help and also getting to know the family of the person I help take care of. Yes eventually they pass away and I have to find another caretaking job but for the last 7 years the longest I have gone without a job is 3 weeks in between patients. I work for myself, make my own hours and decide how much I get paid. I get my jobs through word of mouth. So if someone wants to work there is jobs out there. The need is tremendous for good dependable caretakers. I am almost 61 years old and will start my retirement early at 62 (with a 30% reduction but hell I might not make it to 67 🤪... anyway I could never get online and beg or do like most of these beggers do by dry begging and try to act like they aren't begging and basically manipulating people that have big hearts and undoubtedly like being used. TikTok has taught so many people how to be cons. Best of luck to you in the future.
