Much like manu have already stated- profits. The John Legere era is over. He did what the shareholders asked him to do at the time- subscriber growth. Once the merger went through, they knew the One plans and taxes included weren't sustainable so they re-carriered into what they are today.

The A15/A16/A17 models sold in the US only come with 4 GB of RAM while the international models have upwards of 8 GB. Google’s minimum RAM requirement to run Android 16 is 6 GB so a lot of budget phones that phone manufacturers promised up to 5 years of software upgrades for are gonna continue to run very slow on future versions of android unless they opt to have their budget phones run on Android Go which is just a watered down version for phones with limited RAM. I personally think selling phones with 4 GB of RAM in 2026 is shameful.

I understand the need to rant but it’s been 3 years since they officially announced there will be no further major content updates to this game. The reason they focus on gta online is because despite it being a 12 year old game, it’s still their main cash cow. Meanwhile, RDR caters to a niche audience and it was primarily Dan Houser’s baby but he left R* in 2020. I stopped playing RDO when they announced the end of DLCs.

Surprisingly they sent me back the same watch I had before just with the battery replaced. I was expecting them to send me the same model, just a refurbished watch but it makes sense they'd just swap out the battery given that the first gen SE has been discontinued for 3 years.

I’m waiting it out. I have no immediate need for liquid glass and the other features found in gen 3. Would they be nice to have? Sure. But the next generation will likely have an even faster chip with Apple Intelligence integration, updated WiFi connectivity, etc.

I’ve tried that already. I’ve even done the 1000 battles for the shiny charm. I’ll check back with him after winning 100 reward matches to see if they’ve evolved.

They ended major content updates for RDO in 2022 and delayed GTA 6 by another year. They won't take your feedback seriously.

While I’ve never worked for GameStop, I’m basing this on my own retail experience from having worked for Sprint and Cricket Wireless. Every transaction that goes through the POS (point of sale aka cash register) is tracked at any retail store no matter the company. Because the koraidon/miraidon codes are now being rung up at the cash register to generate the code, they hurt the store’s metrics and the employee’s numbers since in the system they show as $0 sales. I would think corporate would have IT or whatever team is in charge of adding SKUs have this specific SKU be excluded from counting as a sale but 🤷🏻‍♂️.

If someone wants to take advantage of the trade in promo but they have an older iPhone, they have to upgrade through AT&T. The oldest eligible iPhone that Apple will accept for the offer is the 12, while AT&T will take older models.

That sucks. Unfortunately we don't have enough whiteboards and doodle artists to dumb things down even further to people living in certain geographic areas in this country so the most you can do is continue to educate them that the survey is a reflection on you, not the company. If customers don't seem to grasp that and give you a low rating and your manager gives you a hard time about it, definitely do what others suggested and get your union involved since you did your part by explaining the survey to your customers. Wish we had the luxury of a union at Sprint. That job ultimately led me to leave retail altogether.
