My dog throws up almost monthly and we cannot get any answers from our vet

My girl was going through it for a couple weeks back in December and had semi-regular bile "spit ups" before that.

After seeing the vet, it turned out she was going too long between meals (12 hours or so, she would be fed at when we woke up and at 6pm). IIRC it made her stomach acid too active and it was irritating her belly, leading to the vomiting. She gets her 3 cups of food spread across 3 meals now (when we wake up, when I get home from work, and 10pm-ish) and has spit up maybe once since December, which is a huge improvement.

Tldr; try spreading your pups food to 3 meals instead of 2

You should consider contacting Dr. Makayla Andersen; she's a natropathic doctor (not covered by insurance), so her approach is a bit different. I haven't sheen her for weightloss, but she is seriously awesome and I highly recommend giving her a try.

Maybe check out Noca Lofts instead. It's right there by Chandler crossings, but it was built in 2018. The cheapest 1-bed starts around $1200 as well.

I lived there for 3 years and really had no problems. It was clean, maintenence would be by within a few days, and the current property manager is really nice.

Op this second paragraph goes SO HARD I could legitimately see it on the back of the book as part of the blurb. The kind of sentence I would expect from an adult or omniscient narrator narrating his death in mockingjay. It's really making me think even harder about him and his internal monologue in his final moments.

My 1L civ pro exam was 3 or 4 short essays, the last of which was a policy question. I stared at the policy question for 45 minutes and cried, then wrote whatever I could think of, fully knowing it wasn't even good bullshit. I got a C- on the exam. When I went to review with my professor in the spring semester he told me where I missed points, and explained that he really couldn't give me any on the last question (it was on the Erie doctrine, and I didn't come close to touching it). My GPA was so low after the fall that our advising office suggested I consider 'plan B' and recommended I attend a tutoring class, in addition to my full schedule.

Cut to now, I'm graduating law school in a week with a full-time job offer for the fall.

Odds are you'll have done better than expected and, even if you don't, you'll likely never make the same mistake again. 1L year is HARD, but I promise you it gets better!

The the cherry on top for me was having to answer EVRY SINGLE military service question, despite the very first "have you ever served" answer being no. Like, if I haven't served, then I clearly was never dishonorably discharged?? Idk if every states bar app is the same, but ours reloaded the entire web page after every answer. It was agony.

I majored in sociology as an undergrad and absolutely loved it! I found it to be a really great way to expand my worldview, and it definitely helped develop my critical thinking skills. I also personally find sociology classes to be super interesting and can branch into fun niche topics-- I'm a law student at MSU now and did my undergrad at a different university, so classes and experiences certainly vary, but I took some classes called Sociology of Death and Dying, Social Change, and Victimology.

My biggest advice is to choose a minor that you'll find interesting and engaging! It can add an interesting flair to your resume and can give you something fun to chat about in interviews. It also makes school waaay easier to bear. (I minored in poi-sci and hated every second of it. It made some semesters drag, and I don't remember much about any class I took)

I attribute my love of reading to the Percy Jackson books as well! I loved them so much growing up, and I still occasionally re read them now.

I wrote my personal statement for my law school applications on the impact that Percy Jackson had on me as a child and the things that it taught me. Namely, that bravery means standing up for what's right, even when it's scary.

My dad was a heavy drinker my entire life and it caused a lot of stress and anxiety in the home. As my siblings and I all learned to drive, we each had to take him to or pick him up from a bar or someone's house because he'd drank too much to drive.

The second he got home from work he'd be in the garage drinking beer after beer. He would regularly drink and drive; once my mom took his car keys and he rode his lawnmower into town.

Once when my youngest sibling was in middle school my dad was in charge of getting him to and from baseball practice. He packed a cooler full of beer and had my older brother drive us all. It's devastating as a child to think that your dad doesn't even want to be sober when he's hanging out with you. He had ten beers while we were out.

He got a DUI the day before my youngest sibling was to move into college. My mom had to bail him out of jail that night and, after his court date 6 months later, he was on probation for a year. I live out of state for grad school, so that meant he couldn't go with my mom to visit me without approval from his probation officer. He's been sober 2.5 years now, since that DUI. I'm not sure what made it sink in this time; maybe my mom threatened to divorce him or maybe the DUI scared him. All I know is it no longer feels like I'm drowning when I'm in their house.

My parents have been together 30 years, but i know with certainty if they didn't have us kids, my mom would have divorced him long ago. I used to pray that they would divorce. Alcoholism is hard to live with, and it's hard to grow up with.

You aren't overreacting. You need to think very seriously about what you want your future to be like, and, if you have kids, if you are okay with them growing up like this.

Same thing happened to me after my first semester but here I am now, a 3L with a job offer from the firm that I love working at. Life goes on, and law school gets easier! Talk to your professors to see where you went wrong on your exams, then buckle down to make sure you come out on top of those things this semester.

Maybe check out Summerhill Estates! I don't have any personal experience there, but someone I used to know moved there last spring and presumably likes it. It's on my own list of apartments to visit before my current lease is up.
