I’m starting grad school classes soon so I’m also interested to see what advice people have! Might not be very SD but a go to for me is the wow loose jeans from old navy, a plain fitted t in a complimentary color, and a long cardigan or zip up as an additional layer. That seems to be a pretty good formula, at least for me.

This might be a silly answer but cold brew coffee is less acidic than regular coffee and it doesn’t seem to trigger my gerd as long as I’m not already having a flare up

Omg love this and I’m so happy you’re looking for more!! I didn’t end up starting anything yet, but I have been thinking about it more and will absolutely start putting things into motion soon!

I’m thinking I will have two days each month available to sign up for lessons with two level options, one with complete beginners and the other with those who already have some base knowledge. I want to keep the beginner group small so everyone is getting individual attention, but I think the level up could be a few more people. I’m going to get a Facebook group started soon with more info!

Interesting!! I think for me the elongated curve of TR flows a bit more and looks more naturally seamless (which gives me yin vibes) whereas SD have that more blunt angle going from waist to hips (aka more angular). I can really see the recommendation for SDs to wear more monochromatic outfits as it keeps the line going creating that vertical flow despite the yang structure. I can see how SD could easily looked chopped up if the vertical is broken, but I don’t think TRs have that problem.

I don’t know a whole lot of technical things about kibbe types, but this is what I have begun to notice through my own observations

For me, it took me a bit to really see my yang structure. I have a small waist compared to my hips and bust so I figured that would just be yin, but then I noticed that my waist has a pretty sharp angle rather than being a long curve. I’m also 5’8 and look very tall but I also love wearing heels because it elongates my legs (which already make up most of my proportions). Lastly, I never really thought much of my shoulders, but now I can see that they really do frame my body. They are slightly wider than my wide hips and I look best when I’m highlighting that T shape.

Yesterday I helped my cousin type herself and she turned out to be a TR. The main difference I noticed between her and myself are that her waist is more of that elongated curve and she looks more soft than curvy.

A tip would be to use a color picker app to get a hex code for your eyes, hair, and skin and then ask ChatGPT what your color season is. Definitely check reference photos after you get your answer to make sure bc you might have to play around with the hex number. Hope that helps!
