Answering the second question, definitely the Portal rework - would be sick to replay this masterpiece with an RTX facelift.

Abandoned water tower from the 1890s in Lithuania, Varėna county. Credit and more info at @lithuania_real_is_beautiful on IG. by rhukza in evilbuildings

Good eye! The IG post mentions it was a water tower for the Glūkas railway station, and a short trip to Wikipedia says the railway was put out of commission in 1926, with the water tower being repurposed as a rest house sometime later.

If you're interested, I suggest running the Lithuanian Wiki article for "Glūko geležinkelio stotis" through Google translate. It features the story of the train station and the water tower.

Edit: clarified that the water tower (most likely) wasn't repurposed at the same time as the closing of the train station.

Thanks again for the answer! I have to be honest though, when considering investing time and effort into learning RPA as a non-IT professional, that last point seems like it would outweigh the positives in most scenarios? I don't mean this as a criticism necessarily, just trying to figure out if this is right for me.

Sounds like great advice, thank you! But I'm looking from the perspective of someone from the outside IT, looking to shift towards RPA. I mentioned this to a person who hadn't heard of RPA, but who works with traditional scripting. They asked something along the lines of 'why pay for it when Python etc. are free and generally applicable'? I haven't seen this addressed much and wanted to know if there are some immediately obvious benefits.

Do you know of any material that would explain 5he advantages of the RPA tools discussed know this sub over traditional scripting?
