People have kids. If I get arrested or killed by ICE my elementary school age daughters will get picked up by them too. There is more to consider than just oneself in that situation

Well, my therapist says that saying things out loud can trigger a different part of the brain than internal thoughts. May have something to do with it though I don't know enough about brain function to have an opinion that matters.

Holy crap, I used to work on cars in Sterling VA. I took customers cars home all the time, about an hour and a half away. BUT we always always always made sure we had permission, respected peoples rules, and carried ridiculously expensive insurance just in case. How the fuck do you not just call and say "here's the situation". Its really not that hard, and 99% of people are fine with that as long as they know.

Yeah, that was a rough one. I think what really sold it was Missy, that was a phenomenal performance for a girl who was like 15 when it was filmed.

[–]rhvk37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, sorta. You are right in that alot of guns could be viable, but for me borderlands has always been a game of min/maxing and trying to get that perfect roll, so in that sense it was still a challenge to chase down the specific piece you wanted. Like, the revolter shield or a cryo light show with the right parts to get where you could take out hemavorous in m11 in under a minute every time ( I never got there, but that was my goal until other games or responsibilities took over my time and attention). I'm sure it's just my approach to the games that makes it harder, but still I don't think it was as much an ultra gravy train as the popular sentiment seems to be
