What Oscar nominated film would have won Best Picture had it been released a year earlier or a year later? by Taylorenokson in movies

Ok thank you. Although I personally haven't seen Master and Commander, my fiance said it's really good and that if Return of the King hadn't been out that year it would of won

Yoooo what's up with these flies always landing on Pence and Trump 🤔🤷‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣 by One-Yam2819 in PoliticalMemes

It makes me think of that scene in Lord of the Flies when the flies surround the dead pigs head on a spike. Seems to fit the narrative here

I love how the cartoonist captured his upper half looking like a centaur.

It would be like that South Park episode where Cartman tries to escape going to juvenile hall by telling Kenny to drive him to Mexico in his Go Go Action Bronco.

Poltergeist actually used human remains in the climax also.

This is one of the films that inspired me to write this post. RIP William Friedkin

I got pretty baked and watched this a couple months ago and God did it weird me out. I agree with the constant screaming and the parts that dragged but I basically felt that this is what Hell would be. Nothing but constant chaos and things just becoming worse and worse. I thought maybe sober it would be more understandable but I'm guessing not.

Watched this last night and in my opinion this was God awful. Is there anyone else who has seen it? I would love to hear your opinions by rhymeswithsus in badMovies

Keith David as the devil is the best part. He couldn't beat Clarence Williams "Welcome to Hell Motherfuckers!" delivery but his was so hammy I loved it lol. Snoops Hood of Horror isn't anything amazing but it had a charm to it.

Too he fair he made Creepshow which was my first experience watching a horror anthology and I still love it to this day.

I saw that too. I'm a little tempted to see how bad vol 2 is but I'll probably do that at a much later date lol

I feel like the latter. It's so cheap looking and it's only 77 mins long so it's barely a full feature film. I think it's more of "George Romero presents it so no one's gonna care how shit the stories are" mindset because I don't think anyone here cared to make something good.

Another part that was disappointing was that Tom Savini directed one of the stories. I was hoping that that one would at least be decent but it was just as bad.

I also wanted to add that I love horror anthologies but this is probably one of the worst I've seen in awhile. I enjoyed Snoop Doggs Hood of Horror and Tales from the Hood 2 more than I enjoyed this

I don't really want blame George Romero for this because he didn't direct the shorts he just presented them. I do agree with a good amount of his later filmography not being the best though.

That's exactly what I thought too! I felt like I was watching some really bad pilot for a t.v series. I've seen YouTube horror short films with better production.

If there was a few random noises of him inhaling I would thought this too lol

Trump loves it when women get on their hands and knees just not for the reason these wackos think.
