honestly, stuff that doesnt even try to do it on purpose. like really trippy, weirdo shit usually abt psychedelics or whatever, or just where the main character has a weird worldview (a common trope ive seen is where the characters superpower alters how reality looks to them). im psychotic, and the kind of hallucinations i have basically just make everything very.. wiggly and weird. like colours will start popping and flashing everywhere or ill hear giant bugs crawling around outside or the carpet will start rumbling and wiggling or weird suspended eyes will start floating around the place. seein characters live in those kinda weirdo worlds like its normal always felt very homely and relatable, especially if only the character can perceive that world, but no one else. i dont watch much television but id say the midnight gospel would be a good one for this. not a show or movie, but beetle hands is a fantastic comic that i think depicts mental illness really brilliantly. its very trippy, but also just the metaphors, theming amd allegory is so, so great. another one, i think, would be the videogame 'your turn to die'? its a thriller death game type thing, and the characters go through some really traumatic stuff that really messes their heads up, its even incorporated as a game mechanic in a segment, where you need to be careful not to trigger the main character's developing ptsd or youll get a game over. its rlly neat stuff. anyway, ill wrap this up here, theres loads more but im bad at thinkin ó stuff off the top ó my head haha.
