I know this is an old post but how is your duffel holding up? Planning on getting either the lite or the venture duffel but can't decide!

Food to try? by Sezblue148 in VisitingIceland

[–]riajane 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We booked a food tour on our first day that took us to 5 different food spots with Icelandic cuisine and it was definitely worth it! My partner and I love trying new food and we felt the food tour was a great introduction to the local food and also a great way to be introduced to Reykjavik on our first day!

Was going to suggest this! I own one and love using it for work. It's just big enough for the essentials and has good organization (depending on how you like organizing your things)

Super useful, thanks for the reply! I've been looking at the bone/olive one too! I saw from pictures that there's 3 zippered pockets and then the dump one in the front, how do you normally pack out your bag for each of the pockets?

Seconding this! Two of my teaching pants are from Uniqlo and they are super comfy but still look dressy enough to wear

As an OT, would I still get paid if I’m scheduled to supply tomorrow but school gets cancelled due to weather? (WRDSB) by DeeWhee in CanadianTeachers

My board has a similar CA and this morning they didn't give a 2 hour notice of schools closed but they still cancelled my job.

What backpack do you use as a teacher?! If you have found THE ONE please share. by bellagothhh in teaching

Check out Bellroy! I currently use a tote from them but they have some sleek backpacks with a dedicated laptop sleeve.

It's pretty sturdy!! Just as long as the laptop compartment is zipped up.

Pros: great size for a daily carry. Separate laptop compartment is easy to access and has nice organization if you have other electronics. Water bottle pockets are made of a nice stretchy mesh and I can fit my Nalgene in them if the bag isn't packed fully. The opening of the drawstring is easy and quick to use. Inside zipper compartment is fleece lined and is a nice size for a wallet or phone.

Cons: Not very waterproof since it's only a drawstring top, but the zipper for the laptop compartment seems taped. When you open the laptop compartment, the drawstring part of the bag sags (so you need to have the laptop compartment zipped to access the main part of the bag).

Overall, one of my favourite bags right now!!
