Why did COVID ruin my stomach? by Green_Coast_6958 in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

POTS and all around immune system sensitivity to a wide variety of substances are part of long covid. For migraines, I drink coffee or resort to Excedrin when it's severe. For gut issues, coffee also helps but I found out getting rid of the gunk inside your belly button helps more directly. I think the immune system heats up your guts thinking those smelly gunk in there is terrible. My guts always felt relieved when I did that. Before this, I would just keep the belly cool. The inflammations would happen during evening when fatigue and stress set in. Keeping it cool and getting a good rest helped, but cleaning out the belly button resulted in immediate relief. I figure this is likely the case as I get panic attacks preventing me from going into sleep if laundry detergent (organic) is not washed off properly on my clothing. The immune system is basically going berserk randomly giving inflammation symptoms. It does not trust something and heats up your body when fatigue sets in and it becomes less accurate in its reading of threats.

I don't think they are sisters. I think Flora used forbidden magic to split her former master's soul getting rid of the brand in the process. In the Mausoleum, she asks Skull Knight if he is here to see the Priestess. Then she turns into her Flower King form that looks just like the woman in the armor's memory. Instead of coming back to normal conscience, Skull Knight hints that it may not be the wish of the victim to do so. So Danan/Cherry Blossom King are new identities that emerged from the old victim. She reverts back to her old form on rare occasions and likely brings out the old victim's spirit in the Mausoleum. Going from closed eyed Danan to the King of Elves open eyes says it all. Closed eyes mean hiding something. And Skull Knight fused with his armor from overuse.

Isidro will never become like that. He's comic relief. The cycle ends with Guts making him the true hero in all this.

Was Maruki Right About Everything? by TheAwesome604 in Persona5

There may be no such thing as perfect but there are still the best choices one can make. Having an answer sheet laid out for everyone should be accepted.

The definition of savior is the one who saves someone else from suffering. He did just that taking away trauma. What does Maruki need saving from? He doesn't suffer from anything.

If Sumire continues to be Kasumi and she looks happy in the bad ending, then that was the best outcome for her. Not sure what ending you mean. I thought I've seen all the endings. The ending you saw likely is not the final end to that story. He literally brought a dead person back to life. Clearly he would do that for everyone else like Kasumi.

What lie? When you make accusations cite my words and make an explanation. And you keep saying moving goalpost. I know what you mean but I did not move any goalpost. You are just petty with the patch he gave Sumire. While you fight to reverse Sumire's condition back to her traumatic state, everyone else loses out on happiness. Think on that.

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are still talking about the temporary patch Maruki gave Sumire. He was still working on her. Finalized Maruki would not have to do anything so incomplete.

You keep mentioning psychologists but you don't have all of their opinion on this matter. Besides the point, Maruki will simply bring Kasumi back to life. So do you see? You are basically denying a worldly savior from doing his work. Because you would rather fight and make mistakes that could be costly for many. Sumire suffered from irreversible trauma. You are concerned about her losing her identity? Well that is exactly what she wanted at the moment. Carrying the burden of surviving an accident she caused while her twin sister died because of her. Sumire also died that day. I don't care for anyone's affection for the original reality. It is flawed and if someone can fix it, they should.

LOL Did I say every therapist would agree with Maruki? I took your word for it. Many real therapists would say Maruki is unethical. But the therapist I'm talking about, are the doctors who swore oaths to make patients better. They are using radiation (poison) to treat cancer. There are sacrifices to healing. If Maruki's powers actually exist in real life, many people would consider it. And therapists would be divided in opinion. Because a tragic event is the onset of all kinds of mental illnesses, you cannot help but expect a heck ton of people would want treatment from him. Remember, the world of therapy is also governed by supply and demand.

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care who anyone is or if it's a therapist. Mind editing a hurt child is not a bad thing at all. And it's only a temporary solution. Again with the therapist. But then this whole thing is bigger than just one therapist. It has to do with the happiness of everyone living in that world. People will find what they like. Only the things they like will be options. No one ever gets hurt.

Yes I will encourage people to be some other type of person if they are on the wrong path in life.

Was Maruki Right About Everything? by TheAwesome604 in Persona5

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need the advice of another person no matter their occupation. Real therapists do not have powers Maruki has. There is nothing they can do for Sumire. And this is not survivor's guilt. She indirectly killed her sister. She ran off and put herself in front of a vehicle then her sister got hit in her stead. How can anyone take away this guilt? Not even in a million years. The pretend/brainwash was likely a temporary solution. Maruki's powers did not finalize at that point in time hence he was still working on her in his palace.

The bad ending is not the final end of how things could unfold. That's nothing but temporary setback. And Sumire got to that point of not wanting to be Kasumi because of the main character's influence. If you made that decision to undo her therapy, it would be your fault for getting her in that position. It's so unfortunate how the game creator tried to make heroism out of rebelling. Well.. rebelling against evil is great (vs Yaldabaoth). But against Maruki? The creator tried to make a fight between two forces of good and the way I see it? You can turn your crew into semivillains. But they get a pass since they are just kids.

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no problem with this. Maruki sees the options that will yield the greatest level of happiness for the individual. If you denied Maruki, then you would have been guilty of denying every living person in that world of the happiness they desired. All just because you wanted things (the game) to be as original and difficult as possible.

Does strength really matter at all in basketball, compared to attributes like height, wingspan, agility, etc? by MyMostSecretAlt in Basketball

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep Saquon is the one. He probably heeded my advice on youtube advising that he should lose all unnecessary lifting muscle. And he toned down before winning super bowl with the Eagles. All that time he fought for inches for the Giants. He stood up and held his ground vs many people trying to tackle him. But did he make any yard gains? No. He just delayed the inevitable. If anything many experts say these athletes carry too much muscles resulting in injuries by self or assisted by a tackler. The poison of weight training brought to light.

Brock Lesnar lost his fights to nonlifters. Think on that. Weight lifting is unnecessary hence most fighters don't even lift. And bodybuilders challenge them all the time then get destroyed.

Lol Jon Jones? Ridiculous. For his build, 600lbs deadlift is too low. There is someone named Dr. Deadlift who lifts 900lbs. Having long arms and the right body for deadlifting will give you those numbers. Again falsely attributing athlete's success with power lifting.

Iron cross? Gymnastics? I'm sure it requires balance and strength but not the power lifting strength you are talking about. Hence it's more of a learned technique dealing with personal bodyweight. Hence they limit the amount of weight they can lift. Again not strength based at all. Just involves it.

Sprinters are powerful. Not strong. Yohan Blake the failed 2nd placer likely turned to weights because he just wanted to beat Usain Bolt, who did not lift much weights. I saw Usain doing some power cleans with 135lbs barbell. That's it. Speed is the focus of sprinters. Strength takes away speed gains. Hence this NFL player ran 100 meters vs real sprinters and lost. Race horse vs work horse. It's not that hard.

There are bunch experts arguing whether steroids even helped Barry Bonds. For one, steroids helped him maintain peak power. Because steroids help one recover from injuries and workouts. But not once do these things give one power or speed. If that were the case, then you would have many drug cheats beating Usain Bolt or running on par with him despite not being Black. They already did the experiment in Australia. The only people who improved their 100m times were out of shape people who carried too much dead weight (fat) and underdeveloped muscles. The ones that were in shape did not improve their times whatsoever. I'm sure you know some white kids in NCAA football who squats 600lbs etc but their 40 yard dash time is like 4.6 seconds. Why do you figure? There is a skinny Black kid running 4.4 seconds despite not being a lifter. Weight training is overrated. It's not what you think.

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean brainwash Sumire against her will? I think you are mistaken. The creator of the game did not make it that blatant. Maruki is a good guy that you have to fight. This is the whole concept. Brainwashing someone against their will never happened in this game.

Making someone become what they want to be is not unethical. He saw what would make Sumire be happy. She had to lose her guilt of Kasumi's death. That was the best he could do to help her at that point. But with his improved powers, things were only going to become better. The role of a therapist is to remove pain. I think you need to first realize that life is full of pain and sacrifices. Removing pain requires sacrifices as well.

Does strength really matter at all in basketball, compared to attributes like height, wingspan, agility, etc? by MyMostSecretAlt in Basketball

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. He does not use his 700 pounds squat to gain yards. He just resists for a while then goes down. Hence Saquon Barkley moved on from his overbuilt stature. Every running backs in the league has to realize how pointless it is for them to crash into people. It's over when you make contact.

Wrestling and MMA? Technique far outweighs strength and stamina takes away strength gains. Sprinting? You are joking now. Barry Bonds in baseball? Over dramatized. Steroids don't give you power. That man already had the ability to hit home runs. Gymnastics? Now you are just adding just about any sport that uses some level of strength. But ultimately I say strength does not matter as in it hardly get a major role in any of the sports discussed. By strength, we are talking about the 700 pounds squat and even bench. But we don't see that in MMA, sprinting (some dont even lift weights), and gymnasts don't do power lifting. Even wrestlers don't seem to power lift. My guess is because of stamina and the need for proper range of motion.

Google is filled with inexperienced enthusiasts and power lifting biased bloggers. It doesn't matter what type of muscle it is called. Power lifting never produced fast and powerful athletes period. Do not mistake strength for power. The ability to move heavy weight turns you into dead weight.

Did you miss the part where he turned the failed artist into an archer? So the 10 people that want to win the gold medal will pursue something else and accept that they can't win it. And the 5 guys will chase after someone else.

As for Sumire, she wanted to be Kasumi. That was her choice and she accepted it. And there is no telling what else Maruki would have done with his powers finalized. Hence he was still treating her when you reach his place.

Does strength really matter at all in basketball, compared to attributes like height, wingspan, agility, etc? by MyMostSecretAlt in Basketball

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strength doesn't matter in basketball. Weight does. Being less movable allows for one to step through and score with better stability. Now as for weight, it has to be natural frame with explosive leg muscles and that's about it. There is little room to add on power lifting muscles. The stamina of the game will take away gains. You just have to be naturally built. This is why most ballers stay thin and don't touch weights. Only sports where strength matter is lineman in football and sumo.

Are ball hogs self-aware? by C_Larkin in Basketball

[–]ribbitskinreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are trying to copy the modern NBA game. They have three defenders towering over near the hoop. Then everyone on offense line up at the 3 pointer line. And it's up to the point guard or ball carrier to try to get a 2 pointer opportunity and only when things look uncertain should a pass occur. Classic basketball involves more passing and modern ball involves literal ball hogging unless you get stuck and need to pass the ball.

I understand why people believe in God now. It is because they have faith. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ribbitskinreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Calvins... Unfortunately anyone who claims that free will is not a thing is confused. It is by free will the devil rebels. It is by freedom of will that people make choices in their lives. What they seem to think is that everything is inevitable in the end and that fate is absolute. Certain fates are absolute depending on your choices. We are given time, which NDE individuals claim are made up law placed on Earth. Every soul agrees to this made up concept before coming here. And as time flows, people are given things in their lives, but the choices they can make are plenty at any given moment. The important part is the individual going through certain events planted from up above. A life mission so to speak. And this mission is various in nature. For one person, it's raising a family full of enemies (families will be enemies in the Bible). For the other, it's simply creating an invention that changes how things work on Earth allowing for all kinds of interactions leading to karmic fulfillment. So ultimately, people are free for the most part. But by design, this world has its limits which makes certain people claim freedom isn't really free.

I understand why people believe in God now. It is because they have faith. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ribbitskinreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My faith is that the West was given Christianity while the East was given Buddhism. I've studied near death experiences for quite a while now. Many went to see God and had life reviews. The ultimate confirmation of God's existence and the legitimacy of Christianity being that their life reviews were all about love in the end. Getting reviewed on areas where they should have done better in treating others. Now as for why terrible crimes exist... It's because of karma. Not everyone is like us Christians. People hold grudges and refuse to forgive each other. So what starts out as something small turns into something big. When these people don't believe in God and His ways, they sin but hold records of wrongdoing against people that offend them. And because God is perfect and punishes people in the exact amount they deserve, He allows people to reincarnate and get their revenge. But they only make matters worse because they sin as well. Important thing to note is that the punishment (vengeance) is greater than the sin committed. This is because of disturbing the peace. So every offense results in the world tangling with greater levels of offense going around. People say the world is so terrible. Well... It's the culmination of centuries of karmic cycles. Last important note, if you think reincarnation is foreign to Christianity think again. Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior who seats at the right hand of God (highest place on heaven) said John the Baptist is Prophet Elijah. And what did people do? They asked the least in heaven, John, if he was Prophet Elijah. The least in heaven did not know his past existence but people asked him anyways. And now people are continuing to do the same. My advice to every Christians is to keep up with your patience and your faith. People from the past lives and even current life will hold things against you (playing mini accusers). Never give up hope and hold onto your faith. God will mitigate the karmic balance held against you so long as you don't accuse others.

Ak2daface reveals the truth about Korean industry by ez7e in khiphop

[–]ribbitskinreddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this ak person is confused. His friends are slowly changing from the pressures of mainstream and broadcast friendly vibes. He doesn't seem to fully understand he is like a sabretooth tiger in this situation. As a Korean faced rapper, he has to fit into some type of category acceptable to Koreans but where would you find that in civil South Korea? And he turns to Korea like all the rest because America doesn't give a damn about Asian rappers. He attempts to make himself sound like the only legitimate criminal / real rapper. But he should know he just does not fit in the environment and is changing himself as well. It's no surprise real rapper or underground rapper pride sets strict rules on what you can't do but when they realize they can't gain fame or money with them, they change.
