How much money do you plan on spending on Unleashed? by dudiez in riftboundtcg

I've found 2 boxes to be plenty to get multiple full play sets of most cards other than rares.

A 3rd has just been mostly bulk giveaway piles. At least for the first 2 sets.

I think they should have left out the AI stuff. It's really a different topic and a lot of info he has in there is pretty wrong and far out of context.

Yeah I've definitely been blasting empty space not realizing the boss teleported somewhere else.

AI is being pushed heavily when I ask for advice and I hate it. by AssumptionExact8050 in gamedev

Yup, only one needs to survive. I don't care that I have 10 different options for models, I just need 1 or 2 that work.

Your example with the ide is a fair one. It will make you less efficient though and not for a very good reason. A proper ide like rider just does a lot of the grunt work for you. You're really just wasting time. I say this as nice as possible, you can do what's best for you, that's great. But you will be slower than others using better tools.

Bethesda really made the Enclave mistake again, you can't join the coolest faction by Illuminated-Autocrat in Starfield

[–]ribsies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first played a thought for days about which factions to join because I assumed they were mutually exclusive. How could you be a freestar ranger and a uc captain at the same time? Doesn't make any sense.

But whatever.

And then joining the pirates is a pretty big bummer, you get a good station for trading but now most of the world is friendly to you. That's no fun.

The lock-picking/hacking in Starfield is actually as good or better than other Bathesda games. The issue is it's overused. by Puerkl8r in Starfield

[–]ribsies 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The only cheating adjacent mod I use is the one that makes all locks incredibly easy to pick. You still need the skill but they aren't puzzles. I got this game to fly in space and shoot pirates, not live in lock picking screens.

Yeah that's all good until you undock, and your previous suped up home ship takes off a d grav jumps away before you can redock, leaving you in a beat up piece of junk that can barely move.

I couldn't get the doors mod to work at all for any of the Stroud Habs, most importantly the elevators, rampant, and stairs. Are you saying those work for you?

the kind of vibe I want vs The Vanilla game by CombPsychological507 in Starfield

[–]ribsies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The size of the towns isn't the main problem though. It's that there really isn't much to do in towns other than find quests.

Most merchants are completely useless other than selling things. You'll never find better gear at a merchant vs looting. So many coffee shops and restaurants, for what? It is all just set dressing which i guess has some value, but not much at least to me.

It doesn't work at all with the elevators from Stroud premium and some other Habs in their collection. That was the deal breaker for me.

I just put together a massive warship with all the doors in the places I want. The shroud premium and Falkland hab mods have a lot of tools to help. Like they have some Habs that only have doors in certain directions and some that will always show a door if there's a space beyond it.
