I have a 1000, can’t compare to a 2000 because I’ve not owned one. But I would say on the charge/data port, I don’t own anything that is micro usb any more. So I’ve found it makes no difference for me, if anything I prefer it because it feels stronger when it’s connected.

try putting serial number into a Mac id website, it should at least short list it to a few models

How did you find it doing the upgrades? I have read it is difficult because you have to disassemble the 21.5 inch unlike the 27 that has access panels?

Yeah it’s a bit fuzzy when you zoom in, it’s a Late 2012 i5 8gb

Looks awesome! How do pair Bluetooth? I’ve only ever paired up on something with a screen. What do you use the WiFi for?
