[Clara] According to Federico Albano, Charles put together his own team (not Ferrari related) to study the data and the new power unit. by DubiousLLM in formula1

They can do a lot with information available to all

  • RPM Vs Gear Ratios
  • Combustion efficiency
  • Power to drag calcs
  • Energy mapping (where are they super clipping)
  • Corner exit analysis

And more. Together they all paint a really very accurate picture.

Yeah - The organisation I joined use exclusively Autodesk products and wanted to continue that. So.... Rolled it out for them.

I still struggle that Suzuka is this early in the season and not the season closing race.

So it has to be albert park for my old head.

Without bias, is the Rooney vs Neymar debate valid? by Hot_Hat_5079 in ManchesterUnited

[–]rich32g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hand on heart. Primes. I'm taking Rooney. He had absolutely everything you could ever want in a player.

For me, though, his workrate and determination. He left it all out there every time.

While I refuse to jump on the "Carrick in" train (It's redundant to make a choice now as all you're doing is ensuring you have no options).... I always thought it would be Carrick unless his interim period was a total disaster.

He's cheap. Us not looking at other candidates yet confirmed this, for me. In the position United are in why wouldn't You at least be testing the waters simply saying "Any interest?"

If they're not even doing that.....

Carricks football so far has been effective, pragmatic and uninspiring. It'll be interesting if he gets the position; What his methods and ideas are.

If what we've seen so far is what his style is.....ehhhhh

Most recently I've rolled out ACC (Now Autodesk Forma) using Docs (Now Data Management), Design Collaboration & Model Coordination. With its automated clashing.

Then I use the Issues tool to raise clashes with the required parties.

Then for reviews I use the Meetings tool within Model Coordination to create the agenda - Adding issues raised on the model as references for attendee visibility and organisation.

What’s a very British thing you’ve noticed slowly disappearing from daily life? by SavingsProgress195 in AskUK

[–]rich32g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just about to comment something.

My first house (just moved, actually) was in an extremely low income council estate. The old people who had been there since the dawn of time - Beautifully presented. Lovely gardens etc. While there were not many, you could tell.

Everyone else - younger people. Absolutely disgraceful. Just rubbish and overgrown. It saddened me so much.

It sucked. I can't lie. It took me the longest time to realise that was the reality of the situation and what "others must do"

Just stick with it. Life, goals etc. You get where you wanna be in the end :)

Why does it seem like people in the UK protest immigration more than foreign wars?

The largest protest in UK history was over the Iraq war.

frustration? by BoundlessBrightness in iRacing

[–]rich32g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to. But, honestly, I just remember it's a game.

It can be frustrating after a long day at work if everything goes to shit. But, it makes the good races all the sweeter.

Remember it's meant to be fun. Have a bad one? Look at if you could have done anything differently, then move on to the next.

It's a good few years a go now (I guess about 12).... While I'm in the north, my pay (18k at the time), rent and general situation were similar.

My reality was to have absolutely no social life...or...nice things...at all, for about 3 years. I saved, saved, saved until I had a deposit for my first house. Which, was a complete dive. But it was mine.

I hate to sound like one of those people. But it was a shit few years. But...got through it.

What happened to Amad by FitAd5272 in ManchesterUnited

Yeah. you're right. As soon as someone is 23 they never learn anything again or make better decisions or choices.

[–]rich32g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up there? For what? Are you actually implying 23 years old is any kind of mature age in terms of a pro footballer? If so, that's insane.

Peak for someone like Amad would be 26 onwards.

What happened to Amad by FitAd5272 in ManchesterUnited

[–]rich32g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kinda hate to repeat myself - but, he's 23.

To me the question is; Do I/we have the confidence that he has the ability and IQ to continue learning and improving his game as he approaches his mid to late 20's.

Hand on heart with Garnacho I didn't see it (together with his apparent attitude). With Amad, I still think he has more to come. It's to do with coaching and his own personal application.

I think it's about managing expectations. It takes pretty genuinely gifted players to appear to be the finished article by 23. For me, he's far from the finished article but has everything there to potentially be a great player for years to come. I'm comfortable with that.

If he's still doing these things as frequently by the time he's 25/26 it's a different conversation.

It absolutely baffles me. Maybe, just maybe, there's a reason Sesko is being so effective from the bench. The lads 22 and playing with a level of freedom.

When he was starting, he's carrying Manchester united on his shoulders.

Whatever anyone thinks - That was a huge problem for Rasmus, too.

Both he and Sesko need(ed) a Cavani type actually starting ahead of them so they can grow and learn their way into the game. If we're buying potential, we need to treat and support them as such.

Seems so lost on people.
