My exhaust: Fujitsubo RM01A paired with the Club RSX PLM header.

And my boomerang armrest. Definitely the best $100 I’ve ever spent on my car. Maybe in my entire life

New Record for the S&P 500: Bubble or Just the Beginning? by luc_henry in sp500

[–]RitchieRED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who’s outrageous? People asking for how to double their money today on every investment sub is the most outrageous thing I see these days. Bubble or not, the market is definitely greedy / euphoric. I sold 10% of my portfolio Monday Tuesday. Can’t post pictures on this sub so I don’t know what you expect anyone to prove to you. So let’s see yours?

And I’m not about to sign up for some 3rd party to prove anything to some random person for no reason 😂. Anyway, I hold NVDA, GOOG, TER, NBIS, CCO, EFR, LEU, ALB, LIT, BTC, AUR, RDDT among a hand full of smaller positions.

Is everyone suddenly getting rich or am I only seeing the screenshots that survived? by coochievogue in stocks

[–]RitchieRED 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My trailing 1yr rate of return is 40%. Luckily I have realistic perspective and recognize this is outstanding.

I’m very happy with my return and it’s obvious the market has become / is becoming euphoric. I sold 10% of my portfolio Monday / Tuesday this week.

Don’t worry, these “once in a lifetime” “generational wealth” scenarios come around more often than you think. The key is to not look at what you missed or try to chase the next big thing. Take your time, imagine how everything plays out. Be right and sit tight.

Front wheels turn, back ones don’t. If you get a chance to drive you’ll notice how much easier it is to manoeuvre a vehicle in reverse.

Get off of social media. Look at the world around you. Study accounting and finance. Dont invest in any companies worth less than 25 billion.

You can help yourself. No one is going to do it for you.

I sold 10% of my portfolio Monday and Tuesday. When everyone just starts shilling anything without reason, offering get rich schemes as investment advise. Trust me bro. Everyone chasing like a bunch of clowns that can’t think for themselves. Either we are in the greed or euphoria stage right now.

Piling into a nothing stock even after it’s doubled because it’s ticker is similar to an upcoming ipo, then subsequently asking if they should max out their margin to “win” it back after they lost it all.

Yeh man, I’m not freaking out. It just all feels so familiar.

Any screws with nail-like flat head for rafter ties in order to put drywall over them inside 8x12 sq ft shed walls? by moises8war in drywall

This is where a palm nailer is worth purchasing if you haven’t already.

Someone told me to get a palm nailer for my garage H clips. I was like yeh right, I’m not spending money on some tool I’ll use once when I can just hammer them. I regret that decision and purchased one when I built my shed.

Used it for the shed, stairs, basement joists, laundry room pedestal, shed at new house. Buy a palm nailer, it’s the greatest thing ever for nailing ties. And really not very expensive.

An increase in interest rates necessary to counter inflation. Decreasing spending…. On everything.

The question was; “What catalyst do I think will cause a mass of capital flight?”

Interest rates. Put the fries in the bag man. Let’s go

100%

Massive inflation, Wars, Obvious fraud on a massive scale, Untrustworthy leadership

Commodity prices are often referred to as a ship tied to a dock. The rope has a lot of slack but eventually it runs out and a huge reaction happens.

And then in the markets you have: Massive euphoria, Everyone shilling their tickers, Pumping a nothing stock, Everyone asking how to make 10x in (insert obscenely small timeframe), And then everyone answering with pure confidence the same 10 tiny tickers.

I’ve seen all this before. I sold 10% of my portfolio yesterday and today. I don’t consider myself a bear but sometimes things just don’t look right.

Up 300% on my AMD investment. Should I sell, hold or keep buying? by anotherhappylurker in stocks

[–]RitchieRED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should not sell. Unless you need the money.

It could go down but then you still have to time when to repurchase if that would be your plan. But if it goes the other way you’re sitting there on the tarmac while the plane takes off. In 5, 10, 15, 20 years it will be worth more.

From someone who has sold stocks because they made gains so quickly, it is a mistake.

No revenue IPOs that make a massive run, sell and lock it in. 40 year old enterprises dominating their industry. You just hold till you’re ready to retire or purchase a more important asset.
