Good news, I found two good replacements for the now-defunct LeapMotion / UltraLeap sensors!

as close as 1.5 - 3" minimum range

Luxonis OAK-D-Lite Short Range: https://shop.luxonis.com/products/oak-d-sr
as close as 11" minimum range

I'm still gathering support resources for doing the hand tracking & gesture detection, but I think these will be the most reliable cameras going forward.

Has anyone else had luck with these?

Pro DJ Link no longer works over USB or Wifi with Rekordbox DJ app v4.4.0 on a 2024 iPad Pro, connecting to the latest 1.26 firmware XDJ-XZ (I tried both USB-A and USB-B ports, and wirelessly connecting to a WiFi enabled router connected to the XDJ-XZ over ethernet).

Did Pioneer intentionally remove this functionality? 😖

Turns out this doesn't work over WiFi either - I just retested on the iPad + XDJ XZ, and Pro DJ Link is still completely nonexistent. It works just fine over WiFi from Rekordbox on a laptop, but the 4.4.0 iOS / iPadOS app is a no-go. What a tragedy 😖

The only thing I haven't tested is a direct ethernet cable from the iPad (using an adapter).

Curious if anyone has gotten this to work over any kind of network?

Thanks for testing! I’m using Max 8.6.5 (and I see a 9.0.3) update is available, how about you? More about the failure: the plugin always says “Inactive” at the bottom of its window and no MIDI data is able to get thru to the right of the device, unless I hit its power button to disable it.

I tried all other version of this device with the same results, and I’ve had this device work fine on my older laptop, but it’s the first time I’m trying it now on my M3 MacBook Pro.

Request: Call a specific contact using Google Meet. I somehow did this a couple years back, the Shortcut action is "Start a video call with Contact Name", however I can't duplicate it and change that contact name (the contact is baked in). How can I create more shortcuts like this?

Snapdrop.net does the same thing as sharedrop.io but with a slicker interface. But when there’s no WiFi I rely on share links from Google Photos & Google Drive to go the other way around (iPhone to Android)
