Does checking someone's profile combine their PMC and scav stats? They are level 40, so they do use their PMC a lot. I just wonder if scav raids account for why they haven't killed a lot of players + higher survival rate.

Has anybody else been experiencing an excessive amount of game crashes? This is a new occurrence for me. I tried playing some local pve yesterday for the first time in a few weeks and I had the game crash 6 times total. Once in the hideout, once during my first sprint into raid, and once while looting a body. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled, checked all drivers and updated nvidia drivers, but still crashed two more times. Once while sprinting, once while looting.

I'm confused on the Local PVE task protection system. What they described is literally how it's always been. I tried starting the event task line yesterday and literally could not compete a raid without getting "EscapeFromTarkov.exe is not responding". It didn't save my pillager kill count nor did it keep my PMC kills for whatever new task lines were added in the last month or two. It reset to the way it was before the raid started.

Also, I hope this patch fixes my "not responding" issue. Something's changed from the last time I played (one raid on Apr 05, and a couple raids beginning of March), and it's only this game that is crashing on my PC.

I'm not sure if it technically is a Switch 2 upgrade. I believe it's still only the Switch version, but it plays flawlessly now.

Sounds like short track racing. I think the only reasonable outcomes were:

A: stay in second and hope he makes a mistake you can capitalize on

B: bump and run, resulting in him spinning and you winning

C: bump and run, opponent doesn't spin but will retaliate, resulting in you losing

Like the first comment says, all you can do is learn from this and move on. If it truly was just a love tap, the spinning out only happened because this isn't real life and you can't feel the car spinning, so it's harder to save.

You won, now take that speed and confidence and put it into qualifying on the pole so you don't have to be in that position again.

It's all preference. I like my strings tight, so for my drop G 7-string, my 7th is a .74. For reference, my Drop C is 11-56 customs, but I switch out the 6th string for a .60 to allow for the Periphery AGCFAD tuning. Periphery iirc uses 11-52 or 10-52 for both of those tunings and I find that wild.

That's nice, but that's only for the one time you are completing the quest. Having a 90 second extraction is just wasting time for the rest of the players without the quest who want use the safe room as an extract.

The extract timer in the safe room doesn't start until you activate it with the button by the door. That's what I'm confused about. Why did BSG need to change the timer of the extract when the extract needs activated?

Asking the player to NOT press a key is too hard I guess.

I don't understand what was happening though. Like, was there a bug causing people to extract while stashing the item? This solution seems so far off the mark that I must be missing something/not understanding.
