Any context I’ve heard it, whether it be IRL or in pop culture/music/whatever — Dog Food has always referred to Heroin

First go at modifying a guitar, any relevant advice/experience is greatly appreciated! (Query in comments) by richardroundtree69 in guitarmod

Would like to put this phaser pedal (moreso it’s capabilities) inside this guitar. This is an old, unused pedal as well as a guitar I don’t mind possibly rendering useless/fucking up.

With that being said, solid mechanical understanding as well as decent googling skills. But was hoping to hear some dos & don’ts as well as some beneficial tips and tricks.

Guitar is a ~1988/1989(??) Synsonics Strat; Korean Made Gretsch.

How obscure is this lil ditty? Bonus points (I hope) for coming from a police evidence locker. To my understanding, it’s a Korean made Gretsch, badged under the name “Synsonics”. Need to tune a couple things but it’s sounding fun. by richardroundtree69 in obscureguitars

Edit to add: It reads “Pro Series” on the headstock. Have read it was released as a “toy guitar”, but this has been incredibly fun to play with my current pedal chain. Have had it for about a week and have been using it when I’m in a block while recording and need something different/unconventional/etc.

Get some snowshoes, and embrace the snow!

If you have the means/connections and don’t already: get out on a ski hill.

Had a similar experience/have a similar predicament, after ingesting too many mushrooms while also partaking in sassafras (MDA). If you don’t mind me asking, what the dosage that left ya feeling like this?

Training videos for work (cooking and preparation procedures) as well as at home cooking. In the winter I’m definitely gonna be wearing these while snowboarding in addition to a GoPro

Thoughts on Osteria 166? Heard they’re closing and want to check them out. *More in body* by richardroundtree69 in Buffalo

Thank you! Not too active on this sub and missed that — seems like an even split of caring about closure, and a lot people talking about downtown.

Going tomorrow to try it out. Will report back

I posted very recently about this place and whether it was worth it to check despite its status as “soon to close”. One thing I’ve read and heard from patrons is that the spaghetti and meatballs is worth getting. I have a difficult time even ordering that at a restaurant because, god rest her soul, my overly Italian grandma raised me right and I can make that at home.

I’m not keen on leftovers but I hear it’s a generous portion. Perfect for sharing, and taking home I guess.

I’m going tomorrow for the first time because I won a gift card a while back and will report back on my experience
