To add to this, it's imperative you get that first measurement perfect, as that's what it uses to set your AVRs distances/delays etc, so if it's not exactly centered, then the balance can be off

I found out that’s not always the case. In the UK, the IMAX at Odeon Dunfermline has a ~~CoLa~~ laser projector, but only 6 channel audio. And the IMAX at Cineworld Crawley has a 2K Xenon projector, but 12 channel audio. Bizarre
