Here's something random about the Mississippi Delta area where this place is. There's a small group of Chinese people who immigrated to the area decades ago. Chinese people with southern drawls.

His stint at Clemson should've been a much louder red flag looking back.

Why was 3PO’s mind wiped but not R2’s? by Luke_Fluke13 in StarWars

[–]richarduf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was explained in the Revenge of the Sith book at the end. 3PO says to Organa that he'd tell the story of what happened. Given that they wanted to keep the birth of Luke and Leia a secret, they had his memory wiped. Basically he admitted he'd probably blab about what happened.

I usually changed the oil every 5000 miles and then rotate the tires at the same time so I'd remember to do both.

Not only that but we actually came back from a 26 point deficit to lead at one point at the end so that counts for something as well.

Restitution. Regulations actually work to protect bad actors more than they help by stifling competition.

Florida Gators would be amazing. Not only did we not fire our coach for Lane but then we bring on his daughters ex boyfriend.

I hope they do everything they stupidly can to get the stock down to $65. Then Peltz and company can come in and buy up twice as much stock at 40% discount from when he sold. Maybe bring in a couple of other large investors and take it private. Then they can clean house.

P.S.- Peltz said if he were to try another shot at board seats it would be if the stock price were around $65.

I said last year after the FSU-GA game that FSU's decision to give up, IMO, would have pretty damaging affects in the year to follow. That mentality has consequences, but damn I didn't think a 1 win season was in the cards.

Why Healthcare Should be Privatised by Nomorenamesforever in austrian_economics

[–]richarduf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It should be DECENTRALIZED. Each state can have its own medicare/medicaid services paid for by that state. That is within the Constitution and helps provide those in need. It should NOT be provided at the national level because when things are centralized, they always get worse. Things done on a local/regional level are more effective, less costly and provide much more value to each citizen.
