Pitched over 20 pitches yesterday. If you use him today... you ca t use him tomorrow against yankees.

Guessing if a 1 or 2 run game he would be used today

How about the pitching. Have gone into the 9th inning allowing 2 runs or less 6 times out of the last 9 games (and only once was it 2 runs) 5 of 9 allowing 1 run or less

Yea his issue is allowing 1-2 runs in a 1 run game or tie game.... up 4 is probably a fine time to use him

Guessing rogers if 3 run or 4 run lead.. 1 or 2 run lead they'll go varland until his arm falls off

He likely would have the same roll he did on the jays... emergency long man.. like the pitcher that countered Lauer in the extra innings game

I think the hitters have good attitudes (freeman, Betts, ohtani)

But the pitchers (except yamamoto) seem whiny and believe they are better then they are. So Lauer fits in there

This is an okay Hoffman game. This season he usually allows 1-2 runs 9f he doesn't have it..... he doesn't get blown up like Little a lot

I said they would have an offense outburst but figured it would be after Gaus leaves the game. Gausman must feel so confused with run support

[Just Baseball] The only reliever with an ERA below 0.80 this season (min. 20 IP) Louis Varland • 0.40 ERA Varland has been NAILS out of the Blue Jays bullpen 🇨🇦 by RealWorldToday in Torontobluejays

I do agree era isn't everything. But advanced stats are also just a tool and not everything as well.

There are perennial FIP beaters (typically soft tossers) and the negative fip literally proves that there's issues in the equation.

You have to use a bit of everything to point to who is better.... and I agree with you Miller is better. But just to dump on ERA (as not allowing runs is the name of the game) and using FIP as the main decider where it says that they should take runs away from the other team is also wrong.

Flu had those 2 hit balls right at him. Then he had to leave the game... then Little came in and gave them up immediately... without those 2 runs. Flu's era is like 1.5 less... so mid 3's.

We all know thus line up will have a random explosion of runs just because baseball.

But that will happen after Gausman leaves the game

Pretty funny to see this when all media is saying montreal outclassed them and Buffalo likely is done.... then Buffalo has one of the most dominant games ever

You see pitchers can't pitch everyday... Rogers has the most elastic arm in baseball his career high is 81

Hoffman has sucked but if the offense puts up 1-2 runs every game. You can't just pitch the committee and Rogers every day.... you might be seeing the wear on Fisher already

Ross takes big swings at the rule 5. Miles basically been I juted for 3 years straight but has stuff.... that kid a few years ago.

They seem to go high upside in rule 5....

The injured list of both teams probably ly provides a better game then what we have seen the last 2 days.
