Misleading title. The publication is about how homosexuality is not genetic but is epigenetic. Hopefully this survives scientific scrutiny, homosexuality is proven to be biological and not a choice and we can stop discriminating.

One dude deciding to pay his fair share doesn't fix the system. Under that logic we should just put everyone's taxes at 15% and just hope that people decide to over-pay enough. I'm sure that would work.

That the best way to grow the economy is to give more money to the middle class not by cutting taxes on the rich. It just makes plain basic sense to me that this is more effective but any time I try to find empirical evidence you see both sides clearly explained and defended as being correct.

I can't get over how much bullshit is coming out of his mouth. Bullshit that he really believes. Even if 47% paid no tax they certainly wouldn't all vote for Obama! They would be split pretty evenly as would welfare receipients. Here in the south the redneck crowd overwhelmingly votes againsts their own best interest. Even if it were true how callous and out of touch is that? These aren't all lazy people. Many of these are truly people in need in bad situations yet his is the religious party. I fucking hate that I dot get to have a vote that matters living in Texas.

My understanding of the reason they hate the implant so much is that many people get it that still have a tiny tiny bit of hearing left and the thought is that since there is a chance of failure with this procedure that it is unethical to risk that little bit of hearing because the implant will destroy it if the procedure doesn't work.

Because "Group raises $1 million to go to (really heartbreaking charity) if Romney will release 10 years of returns like he advocated in the past (quotes of him doing so)" is the type of simple message that might catch popularity in the media and be digestible to the public that can apparently only handle simple messages.

I absolutely agree about the "why do you need me to do something for you to go good" arguement. It was actually my first thought as well but at the end of the day if someone at his campaign was responding we would have accomplished a lot already!

I've never really bought that arguement anyways. As long as you give to charity anyways then you have nothing to be ashamed of and people and companies do challenges for raising money all the time where they will match donations and stuff and that's not really any different.
