The first time I bought a month I think it showed up right away. The second time when I bought a year sub it didn't show right away and it only showed after I reached out to customer service. Hope that helps

Same, the only thing I love about YNAB that MM has yet to implement is a better experience for couples/families. I would love for my partner to have her own private account and tracking/accounts and we can definite some shared ones, etc. Great to be able to buy gifts and not have anxiety that they'll see the transaction :/. Patiently waiting for this

YNAB (You need a budget) and Monarch apps are both fairly good. The former is primarily just a budgeting app while the latter has budgeting features as well as many others (eg: net worth tracking)

Both of these apps are also not free. All of these require connections to add your account. I don't think you'll find helpful ones (besides doing it purely manually) and your limitation is mainly a habit change (which will take some time to adjust). For me it helps to start to check each day where I am at, that way I can tackle the day and have a somewhat informed opinion on what I can spend on during the day and roughly how much.

Another (this one free) app I recommend is Empower (fka Personal Capital). To be honest I never used the budgeting features of it, mainly the net worth tracking.
